I'm sure some of you have already seen the new "In The Mix" Color Infusion dolls that are showing up this week. This is the first collection that almost has me opening up my wallet. This is not a detailed review of the collection. You can see more info about them on this blog post, if interested. I just need to post something doll related and I'm still not feeling inspired to do much since Buttercup's passing. I did get excited about this new set of dolls.....

I love all the outfits and accessories.

When I saw this lady, Dree Hill, I immediately thought of Darius. I think he would be very excited to have her in town. Of course, fiancee, Nikki, gave me the side eye (which I painted away months ago, not sure how she pulled that off) and said, "Don't even think about bringing her to Morristown. I told her not to worry, for $110 I could buy someone a new KidKraft house. Lol.

I like this lady, but I like her outfit more.

This was another standout for me. Again, not enough for me to open my wallet. His name is Tenzin. I'm looking forward to seeing him on other blogs in the future.
These dolls are available for preorder at the Integrity Toy dealers. Here is a link to the list of dealers.
Have a great weekend. Hopefully I will feel like doing a story or two soon.
I really like that outfit on Tenzin... Tempting!
ReplyDeletejSarie - I say go for it. You know the IT men don't stay on the market very long.
DeleteI did order a couple of these! Not telling which ones until they are here! I do understand how you are feeling about Buttercup. Hope you are feeling up to doing some dolly stuff soon!
ReplyDeletePhyllis - Oh, I can't wait to see what you ordered. I'm in the midst of filling a custom furniture order, so I'm back to doing dolly stuff.
DeleteI like Tenzin myself, but I can't do $110 right now. Give yourself time my friend. You can go back to doing dolly stories when you're feeling better. :-)
ReplyDeleteCindi - You know that price is only going to go up on the secondary market. It's now or never. Lol!
DeleteHi Vanessa, I'm really tempted by Tenzin, but I'm not crazy about his outfit. But the whole collection is intriguing. Actually I like also the silver haired Callum. I'm expecting great things from IT this year. The upgrade dolls were gorgeous and this collection too. But I have to wait for the FR and Nu Face collections before I buy anything.
ReplyDeleteA huge kiss!!!!!!!!!!
billa's dolls - It's not like you wouldn't make Tenzin some fabulous outfits. You would be able to sell that outfit on ebay without any problem.
DeleteTenzin seems to be everybody's favorite. He's the first Integrity doll I'm contemplating this year. :)
ReplyDeleteKat - Yes Tenzin is the popular choice, which means he probably won't last. Hope you are able to get him if you decide you want him.
DeleteI love Tenzin for his Asian very Japanese looking face, long hair and pale skin, he's my favourite doll from this collection (and Callum is on the last place). I bought him even if I can't really aford him right now, I can't never have enough of Asian guys <3
ReplyDeletejewel snake - Happy to hear you bought Tenzin! We look forward to seeing him on your blog. I have a lot of Asian dolls here, not getting any camera time. Tsk. Tsk.
DeleteTenzin is hot! But I am trying my best to be good. If I can pass up the 2015 Holiday Barbie at half price (and she is so pretty), I guess I can pass up a $110 male. Especially when I can spend that on more props. Thanks for reminding me (with your note about purchasing a house instead) that I can spend that money elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteJanainah - I feel you. I have so many dolls here, it's hard to justify spending that kind of money on another one. He is a hottie, though.
DeleteI ordered Tenzin! ^_^ I couldn't resist. I liked the clothes and accessories on some of the other dolls, but I only purchased Tenzin. You'll definitely see him on my blog. ;)
ReplyDeleteCat - Congrats! I should have named this blog post, "Has Anyone Seen the Tenzin Doll?" Lol! He is definitely the favorite. Can't wait to see him on your blog.
DeleteThis Dree Hill is one cool gal!!!
ReplyDeleteShasha - What? You aren't drooling over Tenzin? Lol! I agree, Dree Hill was my top choice.
DeleteTenzin is the tempting one for me but like you said...an entire kidkraft house could be purchased for that price.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I'd like to add more male diversity...I think about all the Barbie MTM bodies and rement items I could buy instead.
Tracy - One Tenzin....10 MTM bodies. You choose. Lol.
DeleteI'm behind on blog reading, so I'm just recently hearing the news about Buttercup. My heart aches for you and for her poor son walking around looking for his mommy. I saw the CI collection. It's interesting, but nothing stood out enough for me to buy. I would be interested in having that second girl's outfit, though.
ReplyDeleteJewell - Thanks for your sentiments. Petey is doing better. He now has separation anxiety, though. He hates when I leave, whereas it wasn't a problem before. Yes, that second outfit is hot. I'm not exactly sure which of my ladies would try to pull that off.
DeleteI love Dree and Tenzin as well. The only issue I have is how tall the Color Infusions are. I bought Zara Wade last year and though she is gorgeous, she's 13" tall standing above all the other dolls and cannot share shoes. But I'll wait a while to see what else comes out before allowing myself to be seduced by these two dolls.
ReplyDeleteapril - I don't have any CI dolls, but I did hear about the larger shoes. Hmmm, I don't remember Zara Wade. Need to go look her up. If you bought Dree and Tenzin, Zara would have company in the stratosphere. Lol.
DeleteHello from Spain: I like very much Tenzin. Those dolls are fabulous. Great outfits. I haven no any doll. This collection is very difficult to buy in my country.
ReplyDeleteMarta - Tenzin is the definite favorite. I really like most of the clothes. That pink jacket is so unique. I wouldn't mind having one of those for my ladies.
DeleteWell,I'm glad to know I was able to order my Tenzin while he is possible to be ordered.Since he is,as we can see, here, the favorite of everybody. As a limited edition doll, will soon became an even more expensive cult doll...Thanks God I'll Get Mine!!(Vanessa,I would like to invite you for my new posting.I think you will love it!)
ReplyDeleteJorge 0 Now I'm ultra excited! Tenzin in the hands of the master photographer (that's you). That is going to be epic.
DeleteYou're a kind friend(blushing!)!
DeleteI'm far from that. But I keep exercising my interest on doll photography! But Tenzin inspire all of us!!
Ms. Vanessa I want to place a order for a living room set. I'm not real good with computers but I'm learning. I purchased some of my dolls already now I'm bout to start on one the three houses I'm making. I love your work and would like to order from you.
ReplyDeleteAngelia - Oooh, new houses. Sounds exciting. It's best if we communicate via email to work out the details of furniture. If you leave me your email address, I will be in contact with you.
Deletei saw them but decided to save my money. The problem with the CI girls is their feet are so HUGE. I have a couple and adore them though. They are cute.
ReplyDeleteLisa - You aren't the first one to complain about the larger size feet.
