The Night Of.... Mike and Adele

WARNING:  There are adult themes in this post.  If you are under 18 yrs old or otherwise offended by adult themes, this is not the post for you.  Leave now.  For the rest of you, don't get too excited.  It's really nothing too sinister.

After the wedding, Adele gets to take her nice long bath that she's been imaging all day.

"So much for the perfectly planned wedding."   

Meanwhile, Mike is determined to get Sydney asleep before Adele gets out of the tub.  There are definitely ulterior motives here.

Successful in his goal, he puts Sydney in the hotel provided crib.  He then heads to the bathroom with a glass and a bottle of wine. 

"Are you trying to get me drunk?"  (Adele)

"No.  I've seen you drunk and that is not a pretty sight.  I just thought one glass would help you relax a bit.  You've been stressed all day."  (Mike)

"I'd like to think I was just focused on the task at hand."  (Adele)

Mike leaves Adele with her glass of wine and bubble bath.    

Adele emerges from the bathroom a short time later in her towel.  Mike barely lets her get out of the bathroom before he takes her into his arms.

"Finally, I get you all to myself.  Do you feel better now?" (Mike)

"Much." (Adele)

"Did you miss me?"  (Mike)

"I always miss you." (Adele)

That's all Mike needs to hear.  He pulls his wife closer for a passionate kiss.

He picks her up and gently lays her on the bed before taking her into his arms once more.  He can tell from her response that she has missed him just as much as he has missed her. 

We will do the respectable thing and leave them for awhile. 

"Mmmm, that was good.  I should leave you for a month more often."  (Adele)

"I don't suggest we make that a regular occurrence."  (Mike)

"zzzzzzzzzz"  (Adele)

Just that quick Adele has fallen asleep.  Of course Mike is smiling and ready to beat his chest.  Personally, I think girlfriend was exhausted from the wedding.

 Early the next morning....

Mike begins to stir in his sleep.

"Honey you awake?" (Mike)

"What time is it?"  (Adele, half asleep)

"It's early." (Mike)

"What's wrong?  Is Sydney up?" (Adele)

"No, but I am" (Mike)

"Honey, I was really hoping to get a little more rest.  We have a long day ahead of us." (Adele)

"I will get up when Sydney does and let you sleep a little longer."  (Mike)

Mike really doesn't give Adele a chance to answer before he moves in for the kill.

We will catch up with them later at the Realtor office.

Houston, We Have a Hotel and A Wedding Planner

Do you guys remember when I bought this?  It was November 2010.  I bought it for $5 from the doll show.  It just happened to be from the same woman I bought the airplane from this year.  This has been sitting in the corner waiting for me to figure out what to do with it. 

Well, I decided to turn it into a hotel room.  I can't have people jetsetting across the country without a place to stay.



I plan to fix it up a bit.  I'll make some nice bedding.

Add some towels and toiletries.

There are so many different ways I can set this up.  I can put a little sitting area in front of the bed.  I can put a little round table or a desk in front.  I can hang a little chandelier over the bed.  I can even install mirrors on top of the bed. 

Meet Adele.  I have been waiting on her arrival for her to get this wedding going.  Initially, she was going to just be a wedding planner that Danielle hires.

I think she will still handle the wedding planning, but I've decided to make her one of Danielle's close friends that she grew up with.

She has a daughter, named Sydney.  Right now she is a stay at home mom, at least for another year.  She is not at all thrilled about it.  She loves her daughter, but she would be lying if she didn't admit that she was looking forward to getting back to work.

They currently live in Chicago, but her husband's job is relocating to the Maryland area in the next six months.  She and Sydney will be spending time in the area, trying to figure out where to live.  She will also be trying to secure a teaching position for the 2013 school year.

For those needing a Darius fix...

The hotel will be a traveling hotel. So when Darius and Nikki hit the slopes in Aspen, they too will be staying in the hotel room.

As you can see, they are doing quite well even though they haven't had much camera time lately.
