Halle arrived to town earlier this week. She finally got out and about.
And would you believe she was spotted taking pictures with Darius?!
Here they are in what appears to be a park.
But upon further investigation, I think that park is part of this hotel.
Hmmm. I wonder what is going on here! Is this all innocent? Did Darius break up with Model Nikki? Were Darius and Nikki ever really dating? Does Danielle stand a chance? Like I said, I don't want to jump to conclusions, so let me go find out what's really goin' on. I'll fill you guys in later.
Personal Commentary about My New Halle Berry Doll
Love her! She needs a serious hair washing, which I will do soon, but all in all, she is just a beautiful doll. This is one of the few times that I even like the Model Muse body for her. She will not be rebodied just yet. I may wait to see what the Basics 2.5 pivotal body looks like. I really love her short hair and her really long eyelashes. Can't wait to make her some elegant clothes. Oh the possibilities.
Whatever is going on, they make a beautiful couple and the background scenes are beautiful and so very realistic looking.
ReplyDeleteI tried the link for Darius that you shared. After carting him, I received a "0 items in your cart" page. He must be sold out. It's just as well(for now anyway). I have so many doll commitments going on right now that I do not need to spend any more funds on another doll for a while. He'll show up here eventually. Thanks for the heads-up, however.
@DBG Him not showing up in your cart was a "sign". When it is meant to be, it happens. At least that's what I keep telling myself every time a new one shows up. LOL.

Oh, I can't wait to see the new 2.5 Basic dolls. There's also new Dynamite Girls coming out which include three guys, one of them having the Darius mold but with an afro. I think they will be some what affordable.
Can't wait to see who Darius ends up with! :)
Hey Tracy. There's no dilemma on my part. I am just going to let the chips fall where they may. See these guys are part of my single crew. There's another storyline coming out about the single ladies. "All The Single Ladies, now put your hands up." Sorry I couldn't resist. Knowing Halle, she will be trying to play the field. You know there are going to be a lot of men after her.
ReplyDeleteI saw the new Dynamite dolls. I really like most of them. I wasn't really feeling that new Darius sculpt. But we know what happens. Someone restyles him, cut his hair or something, and then all of a sudden I gotta have him. It's a real sickness. LOL.
I love Halle. I rebodied mine shortly after she arrived :O) She & Darius look good together but I'll see how she plays it ;O)
ReplyDeleteVanessa, there's so much I still don't know. What is Dynamite Girls? is it a Mattel line (Probably not, right?) and where would I go to find them? also, how do you know about the pivotal bodies for Basics? Finally, what line do the men in your Beach scenario come from?
ReplyDeleteHello Kristi. Dynamite girls are 12" dolls from Integrity toys. I've included several websites. The first one is a blog that discusses the new 2011 Dynamite dolls. The second site talks about the older Dynamite dolls. The third one shows the 3 pivotal Barbie Basics 2.5 Denim dolls that are due out later this year. A lot of my AA men are from a line called World Peacekeepers. I got mine from the Big Lots store several years ago. Unfortunately a lot of these dolls come with gloved hands. They are removeable which makes dressing them a lot easier sometimes. I actually painted the gloved hands the same color as the bodies. Try googling World Peacekeepers 12 Action Figure. I paid $10 per doll.
