Yeah, a new video is ready. It is a nice simple one. It will give you a glimpse into the redesign of Danielle's home, which is so far from being done. Now that I am leaving rooms up, I will actually make and install doors and windows. I have to do a total overhaul of Danielle's kitchen. Parts of it will get repainted. There is a laundry room just off the kitchen which is being worked on. I still have to put up pictures, put in some area rugs, add some more greenery, add some tables, etc. All in due time. Danielle and those boys are getting quite a bit of camera time lately. Hope you enjoy the video.

Wig shown here is by limbe dolls
Great new video. Auntie Paulette looks great. Love the wig on her. I hope she stays around for a bit. Will she be moving into town?
ReplyDeleteThis is another great video. The boys are so precious. Love those matching shirts!

Dollz4Moi - Auntie Paulette lives in Maryland, which isn't that far from Danielle. She travels quite a bit, but she will definitely be a regular character.
ReplyDeleteDBG - I just love those little boys. They will have more matching outfits if I ever start sewing for them. One day soon I am just going to dedicate 3 or more days to just sewing.
ReplyDeleteI saw those building blocks in Target but wasn't sure how they would look in scale. Now I will have to get some!
ReplyDeleteThe interactions between your characters are so natural. I was just visiting my niece and nephew yesterday and your video brings all the smiles back again!
limbe dolls - I have learned that when I see something in that $1 section of Target to just buy it and ask questions later. Every time I have tried to go back and get something I saw a few days prior, they are gone. The blocks are a perfect scale. I wish I could say I bought two of them, because then I would be able to share a set with you....but I didn't.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect that this video came out today to coincide with your real visit of your niece and nephew. I am sure they were happy to see their Auntie Paulette!
Don't be surprised if you are called upon to do overnight babysitting duties for Danielle and Roderick. Ian is great, but Danielle is not too comfortable leaving Jacob in his care for too long.
Love The Matching Outfit....And Cant Wait To See Aunt Paulette Come Regular And Cant Wait To Rodrick And Danielle Decision....
ReplyDeleteclue: your fan that love your blogs and give you idea, you know this fan.
Cant Wait To See Aunt Paulette And To See Danielle & Roderick Decision Your Fan
ReplyDeleteChristina - I am so glad that you enjoyed the video. More will be coming soon.
ReplyDeleteVery nice video Vanessa! I love Auntie P's hair (very nice Paulette - Limbe Dolls). I also love Danielle's new place.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by on my Blog Jog. For a moment I thought the 'family' you have as your profile picture was a real one.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Doesn't the wig look nice! I agree, limbe dolls did a wonderful job. It is nice to have a doll in my collection/stories that is so natural with her hairstyle.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to have time to really fix up everyone's place the right way. I can't wait to show the laundry room off the kitchen. I like that most of all. Once the area rugs and the curtains and table dressing get put in, it will look a little warmer.
Anne Lyken-Garner - Thanks for jogging by! I am so happy that you came to check out my blog. I imagine the doll family did throw you for a loop. It is my avatar family. It is me, the man I wanted to marry, but didn't; my most challenging step-daughter from 15 yrs ago, and the young man that I have been calling my son for the past 8 yrs.
ReplyDeleteThis is the crazy world of fashion dolls. There are over 100,000 adult collectors, and a lot of us still play with our dolls. Shhh! Don't tell anyone.
Loved the video! It seemed like Aunt "P" and Danielle might have been good friends before they were sister-in-laws. I too love the logs. I haven't seen them in Target. I will have to look again. Those two girls need some coffee to really talk. Are you going to do the restaurant too?
ReplyDeleteMs. Leo - They got along really well as sister-in-laws. Sort of like me an my sisters-in-law. I am now best friends with my ex-husband's sister. We got really close after the divorce. Eleven years later and we are going stronger than ever. Same with my brother's new wife. She calls me all the time. I talk to her more than I talk to my brother, and I didn't meet her until the wedding last year.
ReplyDeleteI did consider the coffee, but I didn't have any made and I didn't want to stop....again.
I have considered doing a restaurant and a grocery store to showcase my food. Of course, my plans seem to be bigger than the time I have to do them all.
