Saturday at the Barbershop (Photostory)

Saturday morning and Jason is preparing for a busy day.

First to arrive is Darius, who always comes early.
"Hey Jason."
"What's up, Darius?  Come on in and take a seat"

"Just a shape up, today."  (Darius)

"So how's it going, man?"  (Jason)
"I can't complain.  How's the new business going?" (Darius)

"It's steadily growing.  At this rate, I may have to add a second barber quicker than I expected."  (Jason)
Ian pops in just at that moment.

""What's up guys?"  (Ian)
"Hey Ian."  (Jason)
"Can you fit me in for a quick cut today?"  (Ian)

"If you come back in about 20 mins, I can get you in and out." (Jason)
"Bet."  (Ian)

Ian turns and leaves.

Jason turns his attention back to Darius.

"Hey Jason.  Hello."  (Tanya)
"Hey Tanya."  (Jason)
"I'm headed to work and I wanted to know if you wanted some lunch later?" (Tanya)
"You know I am always down for a good meal."  (Jason)
"I'll bring you something back at lunchtime."  (Tanya)

Tanya turns to leave.

"Must be nice having a beautiful woman bring you lunch."  (Darius)
"Oh, it's not like that.  She works in the kitchen at Hotel Monaco, so they always have extra food that usually goes to waste.  She does that for a number of the business owners in the area."  (Jason)

Jason does eventually finish Darius' haircut.  Ian returns on time.  He knows that a whole day could be spent in the barbershop and he is pressed for time today.  Darius heads to his office to get a few things done.  He's looking forward to relaxing with a few friends later.

    1. DBG - Remember when I first showed you that chair. I didn't think I would ever have one. I love it.

I will keep my eyes open for a Jason. Maybe at the Nov show he will pop up.

  3. You know I scrolled through all the pics first to see if Darius changed his shoes. So I imagined that he had ;-) You did a great job on the barber shop. I am in one often.

    1. Grandmommy - Thanks. Maybe if Jason expands the shop and there's more room, there will be BS talk. LOL!

That red chair was a Hobby Lobby find, many, many years ago.

  11. Wow, once again you've totally surprised me with that wonderful dio, it's just perfect? Did you do the chair?? I love it, it looks as a 1/1 one. And always happy to see Darius again :)

    1. Rossetti - Thanks. No, I did not make the chair. The barber chair is sold on action figure sites and ebay. It's the Sweeney Todd barber chair. I hope you get a Darius one day. It's nice having him in town.
