I say I found this bathing suit. Truth is, it's been here for over 7 years and I didn't even know it. I bought this doll, and about 5 others, used, from a local doll store. The previous owner had done such a nice job with their hair and their fashions. The hair was all soft and flowy, and they were all dressed in really nice, long gowns. I never did anything with them except display them on a shelf. Well 2 days ago, I wanted to borrow this dress, and I was pleasantly surprised at what was underneath.
It was a beautiful bikini!
Isn't it cute? I love the colors.
You know I would have been upset if I had found this after the families had left the beach. Now I just have to figure out which doll will sport this 2 piece.

ReplyDeleteA nice story. :) I had a similar situation once, but it was more funny. I had a Stacie doll (Party'n Play AA) for some time and never took off her clothes because there was no need for it. I bought her NRFB so she was wearing a jacket and everything else. And when I decided to take off her jacket one day, I saw a sock hanging on her back. :-D She had two socks on her feet already and that was the third one.

ReplyDeleteThe bathing suit is from Tropical Splash series. I'm not sure the doll is Tropical Splash Christie, I have only Teresa from this line of dolls, but if so, it's original for her.
