Merry Christmas, everyone! It was my intent to do a doll Christmas story, today. That was until, I started towards the doll room and realized it was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g down there. So I opted to let the puppies tell you Merry Christmas.
"How did she get them all to stay still for the picture?" I'm sure someone is asking that question. Well, well, well. Don't let those innocent looks fool you. It was not easy. Out of about 30 pictures I took, this is the only one where they are all looking towards the camera. Would you believe I forgot to put the flash on for this one? Below are the other pictures leading up to this one.
Let the fight begin.
"I'm not going to look and you can't make me." (Whitey)
"I'm out of here." (Brownie)
"Oh no you don't! Didn't you hear her say we are taking pictures." (Whitey)
"Hey if I can't leave, neither can you Blackie." (Brownie)
"I can't take this much longer." (Brownie)
"If I give you one by myself, can I go play under the bed?" (Brownie)
"Hey, where did everyone go? I thought we were taking pictures." (Spot)
"Wait... I see something to chew on." (Blackie)
"I'm back. How's this pose?" (Blackie)
"Look, I found a slipper. Can we put this in the picture?" (Whitey)
"This is better for the Christmas picture. It's green." (Brownie)
"It's mine, Whitey." (Brownie)
"No... you can't have it!" (Brownie)
"All this picture taking is making us tired." (Everyone)
"But not too tired to chew on a nose." (Spot)
"Two can play that game." (Blackie)
"Cheese." (Whitey)
"You guys are so juvenile." (Brownie)
"You want some of this?" (Whitey)
"Is this almost over? We've been at this for a long time." (Whitey)
"I think we're going to take a little nap before we continue." (Spot)
"Merry Christmas, peeps! Catch us on the rebound." (Blackie)
Too cute!

Merry Christmas! I wanted to get Bruce and Buttercup in the picture, but I didn't have the energy.
DeleteSo cute your puppies!
ReplyDeleteEmma - Cute little busy bodies
DeleteA perfect bundle of energy! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteVerona - Luckily that energy comes in bursts. Then they are resting again.
DeleteHermosos cachorros.:-)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Merry Christmas to you too Vanessa! Look for an email from me. :-)
ReplyDeleteCindi - Total busy bodies! They keep me busy to say the least. I answered your email.
DeleteMerry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Vanessa!
Orsi-bababolond
Bambuc - They are sweet. I am enjoying their company. Merry Christmas! Thanks for visiting my blog.
DeleteI love yours puppies, they´re wonderfull!!!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas for you and your family, my best wishes for all.
Such beautiful puppies. What breed are they? They are super cute. IndyPoppy
ReplyDeleteIndy_Poppy - Thanks. The mom is miniature jack russell terrier. Goodness only knows what the dad is. I rescued her from the streets. I did hear the that dad wasn't much bigger than her, and that he was cute.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Vanessa and puppies! I enjoyed reading their comments. Thanks for sticking to your resolution and getting that final shot.
ReplyDeleteD7ana - Merry Christmas! After that, I realize I will never volunteer to be a pet photographer. They are worst than babies.

DeleteLOL, I can imagine that ;-)
DeleteGot a non-puppy link for you in case you want another Morgan Freeman figure ....
P.S. deleted the earlier comment because the link was flat. I hadn't coded it to be clickable ;-P
D7ana - Thanks for the link. The prototype is awesome. Hopefully the production doll will look just as good.
DeleteThe black one and the white one are my favorite!!! They are sooooooooooo cute I want them!!
ReplyDeleteApril - The white one is the funniest out the bunch. When he sees me coming to put them back into their room, he goes running and hides under the bed.
DeleteAwwwwwww! Merry Christmas Vanessa! Merry Christmas, puppies!
ReplyDeleteRoxanne - Merry Christmas! The puppies are wagging their tails for you.
DeleteHow can you stand to give up a single one now? They are all so adorable, and yes, ESPECIALLY Blackie. And now that I have seen that little white spot under Blackie's chin he's even more awesome.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Muff - They are all adorable and if I lived on a farm, I would keep them all. All I have to do is think about vet bills times 6 and it's easier to find them new homes. Yes, that white patch appeared out of nowhere.
DeleteSo lovely puppies! They are so big already, growing up very fast, still remember your post about the first day they opened eyes.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
They are so cute. I hope they had a lovely Christmas and so did you and Bruce and Buttercup. I also hope that the slipper survived, particularly if it was yours.
ReplyDeleteCarrickters - We all had a wonderful quiet Christmas. The slipper is no longer in great shape, but that's my fault. I left it in their care for a few hours. It's okay. They were only $1.
DeleteMerry Christmas, Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Vanessa!
ReplyDeletelindaivette - ¿No son adorables?
ReplyDeleteMaria Blanca - Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteAna - Merry Christmas, dear! The puppies are really fun. They are quite the handful.
ReplyDeletejewel snake - Merry Christmas! I'm just glad they are still all able to fit in that one bed. They will be six weeks old tomorrow. Time is flying.
ReplyDeleteDebbie - Merry Christmas, friend! Hope you and the family had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you Vanessa! I love your puppies and want to come and play with them. That "Spot" is adorable. I just want to hug and squeeze him. Hope your holiday was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteDesperately Seeking Dolls - Merry Christmas! Spot is my favorite. I think we share a special bond because I delivered her. She snuggles up to me regularly.
DeleteThey are just so precious! I want to kiss them! ^o^ LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that you love both doggies and dolls because that is not a great mix! LOL! The doggies could eat the dollies. :( But do you train them to not bother the dolls?
I hope you had a happy holidays. Mine wasn't so great.
KenyaDoll - Sorry to hear about your Christmas. I've had dogs for over 20 years and they have never bothered my dolls. I didn't have to train them not to, they just never have. Even the newest dogs, Bruce and Buttercup, don't pay any attention to the dollies.
DeleteOMGEEEE!!! Too funny & cute ♥ Girl, this looks worst than trying to get children together to take a pic with Santa!
ReplyDeleteSonya - It is worst than working with kids. I was the one needing a nap after this.
DeleteToo Cute !
ReplyDeleteIls ont bien vite grandi !
Ils sont vraiment mignons !
Shasarignis - They are adorable and yes they are getting bigger. They keep me busy to say the least. They all have their own little personalities.
DeleteHappy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteBoris - Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI missed these! How cute! They grow up fast.
ReplyDeleteI could have sworn blackie was smiling in his solo pic. lol
