And here are a couple of real pictures of J.Lo wearing the dress. Again, I think they did a great job on this doll.
In Morristown, J. Lo will play herself, but as a single woman. She will be an entertainer, and she will more than likely cause a little drama in town. I'm thinking about having her team up with Kyori's man for a musical duet. Let's hope she behaves. When I was taking the pictures, I remembered that Kara's husband, Chris Judd, was J. Lo's second husband! I never in a million years imagined I would have a J. Lo doll in town. I wonder how she will interact with her ex-husband. This could get really interesting.
Hello Vanessa! You've made great purchases as I could see in Your pervious posts. I like Peeta and J.Lo the most! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait the next stories!
Rosemary - Yes, J.Lo and Peeta are both well done and welcomed additions to town.
DeleteCongrats! I agree, this one is a very good likeness. The other version...I don't know who that's supposed to be but it looks nothing like J Lo, lol. I sure hope she treats Kara's hubby Chris better than real J. Lo treated her ex. At least, according to tabloids. ;).
ReplyDeleteYour pics make me reconsider. I think she'd be great as a mother figure to one of my guys or gals. Hmm....
I got J Lo too. Right now she is in my glass doll case. Are you planning on rebodying her? If so, what body will you use??? I mean the J Lo model muse body has the J Lo butt -- hmmm maybe one of the One World dolls??? Anyway, look forward to seeing her in your stories.
ReplyDeletePhyllis - Congrats. Yes, I plan to rebody her. Probably just on an old Artsy body I have. I can always give her a bigger butt with polymer clay if I need to. I love the One World dolls and plan to get a couple, but I don't like the articulation on them, so I won't be using their bodies to rebody. Such a shame. The arms don't sit right on those dolls. Hopefully they will fix that in future releases.
DeleteCongratulations, Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading about her performances -- on stage and in her regular Morristown life.
dbg
DBG - Thanks! Of all the dolls to recreate, I never imagined they would do a J. Lo doll. Go figure.
DeleteNew vixen, hey? Well, they add punch to stories so bring her on. I hope that Chris and Kara remain together. I like that couple!
ReplyDeleteI got the World Tour JLo, I find the Red Carpet too much frigid Swiss governess like. But I have the gown of the Red Carpet, bought along with a friend (he kept the doll)
ReplyDeleteSergio - Lol. She is a little frigid. At least you got the beautiful gown.
DeleteTracy - Lol. Yes, the second one was a little off to me. I did like her outfit, but couldn't picture too many people in town wearing it. I hope she doesn't treat Chris too well or Kara may have something to say about it. I think she would make a nice mother.
ReplyDeleteD7ana - I wonder if she and Halle Berry would hang out in real life. They will probably hang out in Morristown. I can't imagine Chris and Kara breaking up. I would be heartbroken, and so would Jolisa, their daughter.
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I like your new doll. She wears an elegant dress. I can not wait to see her in Morristown. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Her dress is what drew me to her. She will make a great addition to town.
DeleteCongrats on getting this lovely lady. I was thinking of getting her but then I was like..."You have to many dolls now!" I cant wait to se what kind of drama she is going to stir up in your town.
ReplyDeletewilliam - Yeah, that 'I have too many dolls" speech didn't work for me in this case. I've normally regretted not getting some of the celebrity look-a-like dolls and end up spending more for them in the end. So this time I knew I would be adding her. I just need to get to selling off some of my other dolls.
DeleteThis facemold is really beautiful, and I agree with you, she can make wonderful independent woman :) I saw Phyllis comment about reboding J.Lo on One World doll. As far I see Valencia is a bit too dark for her. Unfortunatelly you're totaly right about articulations of those dolls.
ReplyDeletejewel snake - I love her face too. I think the Valencia doll would either be the perfect match, or a little too light. I don't think it would be too dark. I also want to use an old Artsy with the knees that can go to the side. It's so much better in dios. Stay tuned.
DeleteI own both both Valenci and Lena dolls, so after I read Phyllis idea ( because I find this idea great) I compared J.Lo with Valencia doll, but unfortunately Valencia is too dark.
DeleteHola, crei que costaria mas!!!, bonitas fotos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful doll, but I think I prefer her hair to be down. Can't wait to see what all she stirs up in Morristown! LOL :-)
ReplyDeleteCindi - I like her with her hair down, too, but I don't really like the second doll at all. So I had to go with the glamour version.
DeleteI love her but after reading a blog that said she has a face mould like the wicked witch doll, I'm starting to wish I got the one with her hair out Bcoz now when I do stare at her, she does remind me of the wicked witch face mould!
ReplyDeleteChampagneBarbie - You just need to reprogram your thoughts. This doll is beautiful and in my opinion looks more like J. Lo, than the other doll. I'm sure they won't mind if you buy the second doll, too. lol.
DeleteCongratulations on your new edition. She does look like JLo to me, but not 100%. Still a great doll to have. Can't wait to see what you do with her.
ReplyDeleteEve - I'm sure she will be getting into a wee bit of trouble around here, but I think most of the residents will like her. She has such a magnetic personality.
Deletelindaivette - No, ella tiene un precio razonable. Tengo su incluso más barato debido a mi cupón.
ReplyDeleteI don't think she looks frigid, lol, but I could see her being a harsh taskmaster. Maybe she has a little dominatrix in her.
ReplyDeleteI like your own J.L but I think there aren´t very similiar, in my opinon, off course.
