Decided I needed to get moving on some of these stories. Those sleeping bags are getting dusty, so I needed to let the girls have their slumber party. I had a few lighting challenges. I think the light source was too close to the subject, and that mirrored table didn't help matters any. I should have put a white table cloth on it, but didn't think of it in time.
As you will see, the Taylor kitchen is still being worked on. I would say that it will be finished the next time you see it, but that wouldn't make sense. It needs to stay unfinished until I get the second part of the slumber party filmed.
It came out great! I was waiting for Nicole to spill the beans but Rod most likely had a talk with her before they came.
ReplyDeleteFrannie - Thanks! Are you kidding? Nicole has slumber party on the brain. She isn't even thinking about her dad's pending marriage. Rod will probably have to talk to her before he takes her home. Not sure he wants his ex to hear about the wedding from her daughter.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw Tony I said man he looks like Rob that must be his brother, and it was. I have been watching some of the older episodes, but I didn't see that one. LOL Anyway that's funny because they look alike but they don't look like the same doll.
ReplyDeleteWow this is like a soap opera. I need a summary page so I can keep up. But you do a good job summarizing the past. The table looks fine/very natural.
ReplyDeletemrscarissa - I thought they looked like brothers, too. Rod's first appearance is on the video "Preparing to leave for the beach." I need to do a family tree because there are a lot of family ties that people aren't aware of, or sometimes they forget (even me!).
ReplyDeleteSporadically Yours - A summary page is on my "To Do" list. I think the family tree will also help those trying to catch up. The reason I mentioned the glass table is because the glass is reflecting the light and causing a glare of sorts. Covering it with a white table cloth would have provided better reflection. If I had moved the light further away or decreased the wattage, I don't think it would have been as bad. Thanks again for watching.
ReplyDeleteWow, I agree...I can't keep up with the storyline! LOL. You are just too creative! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI especially like the second to last photo! Love the great use of props! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the kitchen. Everything is coming together so nicely.
ReplyDeleteGreat beginning to the slumber party, Vanessa.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is coming along nicely. I noticed the well-stocked cabinets.

DBG - Thanks. Antoinette now officially have better stocked cabinets than I do. I'm going to have to squeeze myself into her little kitchen and let her feed me.
ReplyDeleteI'm finally getting a chance to comment. I am in LOVE with that kitchen! You did (and are still doing) a fabulous job on the cabinets!
ReplyDeleteI'm so stoked for Rod and Danielle! Tony cracked me up when he said "Maybe you should tell Melanie, after the wedding!" To funny.
Can't wait to see the girls slumber party. Will there be any good ghost stories told to scare each other? :)
Tracy - Thanks. I like that I can take you guys on the kitchen remodel journey with me. That way I can take my time and do a little at a time. I designed the island in my mind so I am almost ready to start building. Melane may surprise evryone and be very happy for Rod. Hee Hee. I need to hurry up and get this story moving. The anticipation is killer.
