The parents in Morristown are ecstatic about the new daycare. Right now they have to take their kids to the daycare two towns over. So having one right in Morristown will be ideal. There are still a few finishing touches left to do, but they will be done in plenty of time for the kids arrival on Monday morning. Let's take a little tour.
This is the toddler room. It has been sectioned off into zones.
There is the miniature home zone for cooking and taking care of stuffed animals and baby dolls.
I opened the little cabinet I bought from the Dollar Tree so you can see what a great piece it is.
Here is the crib and the stroller from the Only Hearts Club, that I recently bought at JoAnn's Fabrics.
Moving on to the rougher side of town....
Here you will not only find monster trucks, but you will also find cute little self walking monsters.
I think the cute little monster is terrorizing Elmo. He looks awfully frightened. Or maybe he just remembers the last abuse he took at the hands of eager little, fur pulling, toddlers.
A glimpse of the reading area.
Right next to the toddler room is the infant room. They are still trying to figure out the best layout for this room. They still have to hang all the pictures and add a little more color to stimulate all those curious little eyes.
So come back next week. The new daycare will be buzzing with excitement.
Wow! A day care! Love it. All the little stuff is so cute. Looking forward to seeing it completed and in full swing with the kiddies!
ReplyDeleteChynadoll - Thanks. I'm glad I'm not one of the workers. I wouldn't be able to handle all that energy right now.
DeleteSo cute! I bet all the moms are excited!
ReplyDeleteVerona - Thanks! The moms, the dads, the pets! They're all excited!
DeleteWow! The day care looks great! I love all the details in it. I'm sure the kids are going to love it here! :)

DBG - Thanks! Oh no! Sounds like you had a horrible daycare experience. I hope my kiddies don't run. I imagine there will be a few tears shed, but that's normal.
DeleteWell, you have a grocery story, a church, and a day care center, what's next? A school? A playground?
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
limbe dolls - Thanks! How about an insane asylum. I could use one over here.

ReplyDeletewilliam - Thanks! I sure wouldn't mind seeing Brody dropping off Braeden at daycare next week. LOL!
DeleteAll man I really got to learn how to work this camera. Cause now I want to share a pic of my daycare with you. Great Job:)
ReplyDeletemustiwait - Darn! I wish you could too because now I'm anxious to see your daycare. Have you checked your manual?
DeleteLove the Day Care. Especially the Tea Party wallpaper. Question- Who owns or will be running the daycare? Will we be meeting a new character/s?
ReplyDeleteFrannie - Thanks. You always ask the best questions. That is still up in the air. There are a couple new characters coming on the scene, but they are not going to be working with the kids.
DeleteThe daycare looks great and the kids will sure look like they will be having a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteBrini - Thanks. You are welcome to bring the twins over. I'm sure they would have a good time.
DeleteYour wallpaper is the perfect background for each of the rooms themes. Oh, and I love Elmo's expression. Looks like he's been "Tickled me Elmo" one too many times. lol
ReplyDeleteDebbie - Amazingly enough I just had that wallpaper hanging around for the right occasion. Elmo looks petrified! Poor thing.
DeleteOh wow Vanessa, this is too cute...love love it! Know the kids will love it too! See you then...
ReplyDeleteHugs
Loretta - Thanks. It will look like a whole new place next week after the kiddies get through with it. I'll pop over soon.
