As some of you know, Aunt Paulette is fashioned after Paulette from limbe dolls. A couple of months ago she said she had some mini cookie cutters that she wanted to give to Aunt Paulette so that she could make cookies with the boys one day. Well, when I saw her last Saturday she had the cookie cutters for me to take to Aunt Paulette. This video is the result.
All the items on the table, except the cookie cutters are from Rement.
The apron is compliments of Debbie from Black Doll Collecting.
I am going to make doll Christmas cookies with these cutters. Aren't they cute?
What a sweet story! I'm glad you were able to put the cutters to good use. I was just baking doll cookies myself yesterday. The little tuxedo is too cute for words.
ReplyDeletelimbe dolls - Can you believe I got it done so quickly? I amazed myself. Those little cutters are perfect. Can't you just see Jacob strutting in his little tuxedo.
ReplyDeleteLoved it! The flour on Julian's face and shirt added to the realism. I'm glad you were able to use the apron. Aunt Paulette wears it well.
ReplyDeleteThat tux is too cute! Looking forward to seeing Jacob in it.

Great episode!! I loved the nice gifts (cookie cutter and apron). Julian is too precious. Making cookies wore him out (lol!). I look forward to Rod and Danielle's date. They are so in love. : )
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - I was so feeling Julian. I didn't finish shooting this video until 11:30pm. I was as pooped as he was. Poor thing. He didn't know what he was getting into. That was a good way to use up any extra energy he may have had. I am looking forward to the date too. I already started setting up for the next video. Who knows I may start shooting that one tomorrow. There's so much to get to, I have to speed it up.
ReplyDeleteAwesome video! Just love Julian. What a little character.
ReplyDeleteFrannie - He and his spoon were ready to get busy. He probably won't be helping with the Christmas cookies.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very sweet story Vanessa, i love the cookie- cutters and the little tuxedo is nice too. Your kitchen diorama is so nice.

Cute video! I love the little cookie cutters! Aunt paulette is so sweet! Julian is so adorable with the flour on his face and i love Paulettes sweater!
ReplyDeletewilliam - Thanks. That sweater is from one of the infamous Kari Mitchell clothing sets. Boy those were the good old days of KB Toys..
ReplyDeletemaria - Thanks so much for commenting on my blog. To a miniaturist like yourself, this diorama must look huge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a character! Love this video and most especially your story Thanks Vanessa! Hugs
ReplyDeleteLoretta - Thanks. Julian doesn't have your cooking stamina. After those 3 cookies it was a wrap. I may have to send him to your house to learn how it's done.
ReplyDeleteNice!!
ReplyDeleteI like how Aunt Paulette asked where Julian's tux suit was. Nice of her to think of him then.
ReplyDeleteLove the kitchen, the cookie cutters, the apron, and the story.
mrscarissa - Thanks.
ReplyDeleteD7ana - Thanks! How can one not think of the sweet, cutie pie? Danielle had to do a little more remodeling now that Rod and Nicole will be part of the family.
Not sure how I missed this post, but I did. So happy I went back a couple of days. :) The baking scene is so cute, and that little tux is adorable! :) How are you going to get Julian a little tux too?
ReplyDeleteJulian is so cute, especially with all of that flour on his sweater! The cookies and the baking scene looks so real. Julian and the rolling pin and cookie cutters are adorable. I can't wait to see the tuxedos on the kids.
ReplyDeleteVals Joy - Thanks so much for making your first comment. Julian always cracks me up. I think he will look incredibly dapper in a tuxedo, although I'm not so excited about making it.
ReplyDeleteAuntie Paulette is so sweet. I love that wig on her. Those lil' cookie cutters are the cutest thing! And that tuxedo, too darling. I know even through all the planning, Danielle is excited. Can't wait to see what's next. :)
