A number of the guests have left the sanctuary. They are either in the vestibule, the restroom, or headed to the hotel. The guests that are left are waiting for the wedding party to reappear. Shantavia will be taking some of the wedding pictures here.
Sydney has fallen asleep. Mike has decided to wait here for Adele.
"Wasn't that the most beautiful ceremony?" (Tina)
"It sure was. Where's Harrison?" (Shantavia)
"Oh, he went to get the car. So honey, when are you going to settle down?" (Tina)
"Oh mom, please don't start that." (Shantavia)
"My heart is still fluttering after that." (Kara)
"That reminded me of our wedding." (Chris)
"We did have a beautiful wedding, didn't we?" (Kara)
"What do you say we skip the reception?" (Chris)
"And do what? Never mind. We are not skipping the reception." (Kara)
"Jada, mommy is getting ready to go back to work. I will meet you and grandma at the hotel." (Shantavia)
"Can't I stay with you?" (Jada)
"No. Not this time. I won't be long." (Shantavia)
"Hello." (Jolisa)
"Taylor, don't go any further than right there." (China)
"Okay, mommy." (Taylor)
Hmmm, Chad has plans for his little sister.
"What's taking them so long? I want to wait, but I want to make sure we get a good seat at the reception." (Lisa)
"I hear there were a lot of people in the overflow room. I think we should head out and catch up with Rod and Danielle later. (Charles)
"Honey, get Chad. I don't want him waking up Chelsea." (Lisa)
"Mom, are we going home now?" (Tyler)
"No, we still have to go to the reception." (Vanessa)
"The what?" (Tyler)
"It's called the reception and it's where they have lots of food and drinks." (Vanessa)
"After we leave there can I go to Dillon's house?" (Tyler)
"It will be way too late to visit when we leave." (Vanessa)
"Are we leaving now?" (Nikaya)
"No, I wanted to wait to see your dad. I'm going to take Zahara and Kenaz to the restroom. Are you coming?" (Toni)
"Yes. Can Jessica ride with us?" (Nikaya)
"It's fine with me, but she needs to make sure it's okay with her parents." (Toni)
"What's wrong, Jessica?" (Sylvia)
"She lost her money." (Christopher)
"What money?" (Sylvia)
"Daddy gave me $3." (Jessica)
"Okay, I'm ready. We just have to make a quick pit stop before we go." (Michelle)
"I figured as much." (Frank)
"I know I told you guys this earlier, but you two really look nice." (Mom)
"Thanks, mom." (Ian)
Raven's thank you is somewhat distracted. She is wondering why the lady in the back keeps staring at her.
"Who is that with Ian? (Olivia)
"If I were a betting man, I would say it was his woman. She's cute." (David)
"She's alright. (Olivia)
"Do I detect a little jealousy? You didn't think Ian was here twiddling his thumbs waiting for you to come back, did you?" (David)
"Of course, not." (Olivia)
Love your pictures, so full of life!!! After such an emotive ceremony I cannot wait until the reception!
ReplyDeleteRossetti - Thanks! I've been cooking up a storm getting ready for the reception.
DeleteYay!! This is unfolding beautifully. I need to start Doll Drama up again...*sigh* You inspire me with all of your hard work, patience, and dedication. (^_^)
ReplyDeleteCat - Thanks! I agree. Doll Drama needs to return. I do understand, though. There is only so much time in the day. I am trying to squeeze more furniture making in.
DeleteHa! Gotta love Ms Tina. I was crying at my sister's wedding as she said her vows and my mom goes, "Don't worry, it will happen for you one day." hahaha! Lady, crying at weddings is what you're supposed to do!
ReplyDeleteVita Plastica - Too funny! Does that mean she didn't cry at the wedding?
DeleteSo wonderful that you keep us glued to the screens of our computers waiting impatiently to see what happens next
ReplyDeleteSergio - I'm just happy you guys are still there wondering.
DeleteHello from Spain: I love Mike. Beautiful photos. I look forward to more. Jessica is normal to lose money. All children lose money ... very real ... a great job. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks! Mike is a real cutie. I can't wait to show more of him and Adele as a couple. I'm sure dad will give Jessica more money, but they are probably going to let her think about it so she isn't so careless next time.
ReplyDeleteUh oh... the reception is where all the drama happens!!! Olivia isn't going to cause a scene, is she?
ReplyDeleteThe children are so cute... although I worry what Chad's plans are for his baby sister 0_0
Heather - I don't know what Olivia has on her mind. We will all have to wait and see what happens. Baby Chelsea survived Chad. LOL!
DeleteYes Reception soon! Oh Olivia! I wonder if she is really jealous?
ReplyDeleteVerona - I think ol' Olivia had a reconciliation on her mind when she was unaware of Raven.
DeleteYour stories are an addiction. LOVE IT!!! Can't wait for the reception.
ReplyDeletemustiwait - I think I am addicted to doing them. Glad you are still tuned in. We have a few more stories before the reception. That will give me time to make the wedding cake. I totally forgot about it until yesterday. Oops!
DeleteVestibule, I haven't heard it call that in a long time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you didn't give Ian's love interests the same face sculpt. I would be on the floor laughing then. I believe that most men date women who look the same. There might be some drama with Ian yet at the reception. hmmm
I just noticed your Trichelle doesn’t have sideway facing eye! Did you repaint her or did you purchase her that way? The dress she is wearing, did you make it?
Ms. Leo - You are right about how men date. Quick story...I used to babysit for my biology teacher. She was married to the principle of our rival junior high school. Several years later they divorced. One day my best friend and I were invited to his house (can't remember why). When we saw his new wife, we almost fell out. She could have been his ex-wife's IDENTICAL twin.
DeleteYou must have missed my post where I was repainting everything. You can see it here.
http://vansdolltreasures.blogspot.com/2012/01/lets-start-2012-off-right.html. I repainted Trichelle, Chandra, Pop Life Christie, and a few others. I left Adele and Nikki as is for the moment, but their eye change is coming soon. Trichelle's dress is a Stardoll dress from one of the accessory pack.
Great post-wedding-before-the-reception story, Vanessa... very believable -- pit stops, children losing things, a hint of drama, etc. Great pictures, too!

DBG - Thanks. Olivia should have never let Ian get out of her grasp. Doesn't she know how rare it is to find a brother of his caliber and height in the fashion doll world? She may be waiting a long time for a new man.
DeleteI really love the attention to detail you put into this. Your thought and care every step of the way really shines through. I am in awe of your talents. Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Matty! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such wonderful comments. I only hope I can take some time to study photography and start producing awesome pictures like you do. We used to have wonderful Continuing Ed classes here where I planned to take some photography courses. A few years ago, they cut out the whole program in one fell swoop. It was terrible!
DeleteIf you don't have FDQ's In Focus book, I highly recommend it! It's a classroom in a book, geared for dolls! :)
DeleteThanks Matty. I will check into that FDQ book.
DeleteLoved it!! Great photo story!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Thanks! I imagine after the doll show, you will be getting back to some stories of your own.
DeleteChelsea's crocheted pink layette is so cute! Excellent characterizations!
ReplyDeletelimbe dolls - Thanks! Chelsea's outfit and the blanket are from two different sets. I love seeing little kids in crocheted outfits.
