And so are Nikaya and Jessica. They have been plotting and scheming (as my mother used to say) and they have convinced their parents to let them have a sleepover at Nikaya's house after the Labor Day cookout. So I made all three of them new sleeping bags for the occassion.
Today I finally found brick wallpaper. It is not the color I wanted, but I have to go with it. Now I can finish the patio so this cookout can happen. Labor Day in dolly world is a tad bit later than the real Labor Day.
Those are darling sleeping bags! Love the fur rug too. I hope the girls have a great time giggling and talking about boys. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see the cookout, I'll be trying to check in from time to time for its post.
yeay!! you found the brick wall paper! I too wasnt to thrilled with what i found but it works! I just made my fourth trip to hobby lobby this week!!! the girls look comfy in their sleeping bags. i cant waite to see what you cooked up for the oicnic.
ReplyDeleteCute sleeping bags! I know some who use those to double as storage for dolls, specially those they don't want to get scratched. :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I look forward to the cookout. I will live vicariously through your dolls...I didn't get any barbecue this weekend. Lol!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable those sleeping bags are! They look like they are having a blast. I also am looking forward to the cookout.
ReplyDelete@Georgia , I think my husband and I had way too much barbecue! Being married to a pastor, folks always wanna feed him lol. I do have extra plated that were dropped off today if anyone is interested lol!
The sleeping bags are adorable. The girls look excited because their plotting and scheming worked!

Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteTracy - They are not at the boy stage yet. Nicole and Jessica are only 10 and Nikaya is a little younger.
William - I am little concerned about your obsession with Hobby Lobby!
Niel - Sleeping bags for storage is a good idea, but would be an awful lot of work.
Georgia Girl - No bar-b-que for me either. I hope they have some good food at this cookout. If they are waiting for me to make it, they could be in trouble.
Chynadoll - I'm coming up to get a plate and to go shopping with you and Frannie.
DBG - I remember those days of plotting and scheming. My mother often foiled my well laid out plans.
Oh, ok. Hmmm...my friends and I must have started early on the crushes, lol. I remember my first crush in 2nd grade. And I can't forget my crush on Michael when the Jackson's had their weekly t.v. show. :)
ReplyDeleteTracy - I think I had crushes early, but really didn't start talking with friends about boys until I was maybe 11 and 12. But remember, I have a large following of young girls and I really don't want to encourage them to put their focus on boys so early. I'm trying to encourage doll play, not boy play.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the cookout and Sleep Over.......Can't wait To See Them In School.....I Mostly Can't Wait For Everything Lls I'm Serious But I'm Patience And Just Excited That Everything you do for those dolls are basic on some real reality factures that some adults and young teens and young children sometimes do mostly everyday....

Chrintina - Thanks. I can't wait to do some school scenes, too. That may take a little while. I have to get back to Danielle and Rod and Darius and Nikki after this cookout.
ReplyDeleteNow these should be in your esty shop! They are way cool! Are there any scary movies or games at this sleepover? They can call Joey and hanging up! That would be funny. I hope you've made more pizza. No one want broccoli at a sleepover.
ReplyDeleteMs. Leo - Thanks. If I make some with zippers, I will put them in my Etsy shop. I need them to have a little something extra. I have to check with the 3 musketeers to see what they have planned as far as entertainment. I do know there will be a few good treats to partake in.
