It's another unseasonably warm day in Morristown. Rod and Melanie have agreed to meet at the park to discuss Nicole. I've decided to do this as a video that will be posted by Friday. You will have to come back to hear the conversations that take place. Below are a few of the pictures to hopefully entice you to watch the video when available.
The park is quite busy.
The Cooper girls wanted to play with their motorized car, so mom brought along a little lunch.
Monica is out walking Teddy.
Melanie has arrived a little earlier than the agreed upon time, so she is catching up on a little reading.
(I love the Tim Gunn red purse!)
Max and Carmen are there, as well. Carmen looks a little sad.
Monica approaches Melanie,
who is slightly startled, but
all Monica wants to do is sit down.
Teddy, on the other hand is more interested in the food at the picnic.
The girls are having grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips and a banana for lunch.
They are trying to be patient while dad brings over their plates.
Melanie and Monica chat a bit.
Mrs. Cooper feeds the baby, while
Dad keeps an eye on the twins.
Rod has arrived.
Melanie spots him approaching.
Max and Carmen are leaving the park.
This is promising. Melanie lets Rod sit down.
Even more promising. She's offering him coffee. I don't know if he should drink that. LOL.
Well they seem to be having a nice conversation.
Oh goodness. What did Rod say?
Is her scalp itching? Is she getting a headache? Is she just deep in thought?
Here comes one of those pesky skateboarders.
(Nice Bieber body. No stands or wires were used to get him to skateboard. Just a nicely designed articulated body.)
Doesn't look like Rod has touched the coffee yet.
Hard to tell what's going on here.
I guess the girls have finished their lunch. They are off and riding!
Mom is burping the baby and yelling at dad for some reason.
Come back and check out the video to find out if Nicole is going to DisneyWorld or not!
This dio was set up on my dining room table. Part of the greenery is my dismantled Christmas tree. I was intending to get rid of it. Now I see it has to stay.
That red purse is nice. The park turned out great. I hope Melanie keeps an open mind besides she can go too RIGHT????? LOL
ReplyDeleteMustiwait - LOLOL! Of course she can go.
DeleteRod better not drink that coffee! No telling what she put in it.
ReplyDeleteHaving an existing park that you can leave up would be great!
Muff - What? Don't you trust her? This park won't stay up, but it's easy to recreate when needed. It does give my dining room a nice jungle feel to it.
DeleteHello from Spain: I love the park. The mini toy car is beautiful. I also like the red tablecloth. You always have the best things. I want to go live with your Barbies ... Teddy is a Mattel dog? I love it. I love clothes that Melanie is taking on. I love her bag. Baby Cooper is adorable. I cant wait to see the video. Great job ... Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks. I found that car at a thrift store a couple years ago. It's not a Mattel car. Yes that is a Mattel dog. That Baby Cooper is a substitute. I temporarily misplaced the real Baby Cooper.
DeleteIt's so strange to see that somebody has summer weather now. :) It's very frosty in Moscow.
ReplyDeleteMaking a park for dolls is one of my dreams. :) I have plastic grass and flowers, but trees are always a problem. Btw I also had an idea of using a New Year tree, but I have only a small one. Well, several small ones, but others are really small even for dolls.
Dukasha - I don't think it's as warm in Virginia (where the dolls reside) as it is here in GA. Two nights ago I walked out the house at night with no coat or jacket. It was almost 70 degrees. We have been in the 60s and 70s the past couple of weeks. Usually we are a tad colder around this time of December. Very odd. I have regular tree plants I use throughout my house included in this picture, too. There are two small fashion doll sized trees in there, too.
DeleteIt's so hard to discuss weather, when our countries use different termometros... I understand nothing in that scala Fahrenheit. OK, I've found some info about it. We now have -18...-20 degrees (scala Celsius), it is about 0...-4 for you (scala Fahrenheit). Something like that. Almost 70 degrees for you means about 20 degrees for me. Yes, it's warm. It would be wonderful to have those +20 degrees instead of -20 degrees we really have. lol.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the park, Vanessa! Now, you make me want a Beiber doll, LOL. He's a real cute kid.
ReplyDeleteI'll check back to see part II. :)
Tracy - Thanks! You need to get at least one of the articulated Bieber kids. I like this version the best. The articulation is different than the other dolls, but it's really good.
DeleteReally enjoyed the park scene and I'm looking forward to the video.
ReplyDeletelimbe dolls - Thanks. I'm already thought of a million ways to use this background scenery.
DeleteLove this dio!! You really and trily have the eye for this scale. Looking forward to the video.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Thanks! Let's hope Melanie was on her best behavior.
DeleteSuper park! I really like it, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteMark - Thanks! This park was almost as good as the real park and a lot warmer.
DeleteLooks like your park has been relocated here. Can't wait to hear what they are saying.
ReplyDeleteLove the authentic look of the dio. I could almost smell the fresh air. The Christmas tree was nicely repurposed.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Rod is ever going to win, at least not initially, with Melanie.
