This Pink Dream fashion doll house was $29.99, original price $69.99. When I saw it, I turned to my boyfriend for guidance. "Honey, do you think I should get it?" LOLOL! He started by saying, "Well you have a lot of stuff already, and you said you were trying to get rid of some stuff." Apparently, he misunderstood the question, because the only answer to that question was, "Of course you should get it."
Level 3 is a bedroom. I think this would be a nice bedroom for a little girl. To the right is a rooftop hot tub.
The second level has a bathroom and a nursery on the right side.
Level one is kitchen and living room.
I haven't decided if I am going to put the house together, or just use the backgrounds. Whatever the case, I will make it a little more realistic by adding other furniture and accessories. On the first level I will expand the floor out and make it a much larger space. Below are a few pictures from the box. I hope to have it out the box within the next week. I just need to figure out which family is going to get to use it first.
I love the look of this house from the front. I will probably just set this up with a front yard, etc.
At Tuesday Morning? Lucky! My Tuesday Morning is usually empty of doll stuff. And of course there was only 1 answer LOL. Don't worry, he'll catch on soon enough!
ReplyDeleteVerona - We have quite a few TMs in the area. This one was one of the larger stores. I don't even know why I asked him the question. I knew I wasn't walking out without it.
DeleteHello from Spain: I bought yesterday in my city ToysRUs a house very similar to yours. It cost me over $ 100. It cardboard and wood. It also has a terrace. One of my Christmas presents! I agree with you that the house is made faster dioramas ... I'm sure you're going to get much use in that house. Great buy and a great price. I envy you! Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Don't you love this time of year when we can use the excuse of Christmas to buy more doll stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing your new doll house.
DeleteWow Vanessa, that is too cute! I haven't seen that one yet. Congrats on getting it.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - I can't wait to debox it. As soon as I make a space for it.
DeleteLol to the "wrong answer". I can't wait to see that put together with a yard.
ReplyDeleteKenya - Building the yard will be fun. I just hope I get around to doing it.
Deletethats alot of house for a great price
ReplyDeleteMustiwait - As if I really needed another house. LOL.
DeleteI find these cardboard homes and sets fascinating. It's not about making dios easy, I just think they bring something cute to the table. Great purchase!
ReplyDeleteMuff - I agree. This would be a wonderful house to enhance. Colored markers and other embellishments could be used to really customize this little gem.
DeleteThat was a great price for the house. I look forward to seeing how you utilize it in your stories.
ReplyDeleteWe went to Tuesday Morning this past weekend, too.
dbg
DBG - We did TM, The Fresh Market, Trader Joe's and American Girl. It was such a nice weekend to be out and about.
DeleteBargain - how could he not say 'yes'? It's always good to hear of great buys from the different stores you have.
ReplyDeleteCarrickters - He didn't know any better. Normally I am buy myself. I still ask the question, but my alter ego always says yes. LOL.
DeleteI saw that house and was debating...they had several of them at my TM as well..The thing that stopped me was 'where would I put it?' knowing how I love to build, I would probably never take it down, lol...and Barbietown is getting overpopulated...
ReplyDeleteLisa - I completely understand about space and overpopulation. I am considering moving Morristown to the basement. It's twice as big as the current space. All the work involved in doing that has kept it from happening. Maybe one day.
DeleteGreat buy Vanessa! The TM in Gainesville never seems to have cool stuff like that. Of course, it's not an overly huge store either. And Moreville here is overpopulated already so I've no place to put it. When I move into my next house, I'll be able to have my Barbie mansion back. It's the wooden one from Real Good Toys.
ReplyDeleteCindi - Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad this house is easy to put up and take down. I don't think I will leave it up. But you never know.
DeleteHi. I love this house. I bought it today from Tuesday morning for $6!
ReplyDeleteNHBarbies and more - Congrats! I recently saw it at my TMs on clearance, but left it in the store. I've started cutting it into separate floors to use in different dios, instead of using it as one big house. Enjoy!
