Well the time has finally come! We are going to a wedding. As you will see, Danielle took a slightly eclectic approach with her wedding party. They are not all matching. She wanted them to be a little unique.
This is the only picture I am sharing because when I saw her in this position, I cracked up. I don't know how she got like this, but Leslie is walking down the aisle at this point and it looks like she is peering around the corner to see her mom. I still don't know what is holding her in place.

I don't know why this picture looks so bad here. None of my pictures actually looked like this.
This is part I. Part II will be posted next week. Thanks to everyone for your incredible support of this wedding! It sort of took on a life of it's own. Thanks to all who sent guests, posted links, did stories, etc. I hope you had as much fun with it all as I did. We still have a ways to go with the rest of the ceremony and the reception. Thanks for staying tuned in.
OMG!!! I love ALL!!! Thanks for giving us this emotion
ReplyDeleteSergio - Thanks! It was great to see it all come together. Everyone, especially Adele, was breathing a sigh of relief.
DeleteYay! As soon as I saw this video, I swear tears started running down my face! I'm a sucker for weddings, including doll weddings! I can't wait for part 2!
ReplyDeleteVerona - Don't feel bad, I am the same way. That first music note just pulls at the heart.
DeleteOk, how is it that I am the first to comment on this? Anyway, loved the video! I especially like the flower girl and ring bearer. Cute little petals ! The church really looks great. It gives me some ideas for the Reverend in my town. No video during the service? Church restrictions huh? Yeah, some churches do that. Where did you get the music from? It is becoming hard to post video with someone saying you need the copyright to use it. Did you play it yourself?
ReplyDeleteMs. Leo - I think everyone was watching it at the same time. There is video going on. Shantavia brought in a videographer. They were kind of incognito throughout the service. I actually buy my music now to avoid issues. There is a site called danosongs where you can use their songs if you give them credit.
DeleteYeah, once I posted I only say Verona up already!
DeleteYay! I LOVE it! Great job on the video Vanessa. Everything looks great. Danielle is a gorgeous bride. The flower girl is too cute. The attendees, the altar everything looks great!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - I am very happy that it all came together. Ciana was a trip. She had her little beauty queen pose going on. You would have thought I was intentionally posing her throughout, but I wasn't. That is what she was giving me. I shouldn't have been surprised.
DeleteI thought I was the first too Ms. Leo, but when I finished posting I am the 3rd. Lol!
ReplyDeleteCoooooooooL! I love it. One day I'll also do video's. Good work. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteDuke of Swann - Thanks! It is good to finally have this started. With all the other wedding activities that were planned, this has been about 6 months of planning.
DeleteAwww, Danielle looks beautiful! I especially like the little ring bearer. He's so cute. Look forward to seeing Part II.
ReplyDeleteZDollCloset - Thanks. Danielle does make a beautiful bride. Yes, I can't wait for these two to finally tie the knot.
DeleteBeautiful birde, everyone looks beautiful:) excited to see part two!
ReplyDeleteChynadoll - Thanks! Part 2 will be soon. We have to get these two hitched so we can all party.
Delete*sniff* Rod's face at 2:35 was precious. I swear these dolls change expressions. Great ceremony so far!
ReplyDeleteVita Plastica - Thanks. I agree with you about the changing expressions. I swear I can see it at times, too.
DeleteWow it's coming together perfectly I love the ring boy and the flower girl her little flowers on the ground and the men look dashing. Her wedding dress is on point !
ReplyDeleteTinisha - Thanks. I think the dress really fit the fairy tale occasion.
DeleteThe children performed well and acted just as children do -- speaking to members in the audience, but were not to distracted, which is good. The audience was engaged.
ReplyDeleteLoved Nicole's hair.
Danielle is a beautiful bride and her brother, Ian, looks so handsome.
It turned out great. I was sad to see it end so quickly.

dbg - Thanks. I was happy to see Jacob make it down the aisle. I knew he would follow his dear friend, Kee. I figured that was a good stopping point or we would be moving into 10min video territory. I won't make you guys wait too long. They will be Mr. and Mrs. before you know it.
DeleteOK. I am looking forward to the reception, too.
Deletedbg
This was awesome! here was so much creativity and realisticness to this!! i can't wait for part II!!! :)
ReplyDeletecoolsinger - Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I, too, am looking forward to the vows.
DeleteEveryone looks so wonderful and the bridal party is great. I'm on campus and as the doors opened in the video this dramatic music started playing from where the band is rehearsing here in the auditorium. It was so fitting.
ReplyDeleteAlura - That is hilarious! I'm so glad you enjoyed the band enhanced version.
Deletesoooooo cute...
ReplyDeleteBobby - Hello! Thanks for visiting! Glad you liked it.
DeleteHello from spain: Wow, Wow, Wow... Danielle is a beautiful bride. The wedding is like a story with a happy ending. Everything is beautiful. I love the hair and the dress of the bride. Everything is very elegant. I am amazed at your work as detailed. Once again I congratulate you on the video and the clothes, accessories and hairstyles of all those involved in the wedding. Congratulations. You are a great professional. Keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. I am very happy that it is finally here.
DeleteOMG, Vanessa, that was so beautiful! My husband (who doesn't understand the doll world) ran over to watch the video with me. He loved it too! He couldn't get over all the little details that went into this wedding. Who knows....maybe he'll start watching them with me on a daily basis. That was the best wedding we've been to in a long, long time. Can't wait for Part 2(note to self...need more tissues.)
ReplyDeleteDebbie - Thanks! I am touched that your husband watched it, too. Your doll ego had a great seat in the church. Did you show your husband your doll family? LOL!
Deleteha ha ha, yes, my husband agreed that we had great seats. He also said he's more handsome than he remembered and I looked like a doll. He went on to say that maybe it was just the great lighting in church. lol
DeleteDebbie - I see your husband is a comedian. I like that! Tell him that's the beauty of the doll world. You "can be" anyone you want and look fabulous at it.
DeleteOMG I'm glad I want to the doll room to watch this alone my family would be committing me for sure if they saw the tear that just left my eye. Everyone looks so beautiful. You capture my attention everytime I log in to see whats going on in Morrisville, my dolls and I believe you have the best ideas.
ReplyDeletemustiwait - Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. If they did commit you, tell them to send you to the facility with the other committed doll people. You know there would be a whole bunch of us there.
DeleteI don't think the picture turned out bad at all!! It looks great! Looking forward to Part 2! :)
ReplyDeleteDolly's World - The picture they selected for the video doesn't look terrible, but their system did something funky with the colors.
DeleteWhen Ciana dropped that first petal I started tearing up, but when Rod saw Danielle I lost it. You are that good. This was well worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteMuff - Awww! I better make sure Tatiana has tissues handy for the rest of the ceremony. I'm going on pure memory with her name. Please forgive me if I'm wrong. I had to gather myself before shooting the video. I needed clear eyes to make sure the pictures weren't blurry.
DeleteWow I just love this video! I love all of the little details, like the tiny flower petals. This has all been so exciting!
ReplyDeleteRoxanne - Thanks! I was so happy they finally found the flowers! They were in the other room just as Adele had suspected, but they had fallen behind the table.
DeleteBravo! The wedding has exceeded all the months of expectation that have been building up to it. Cianna just about stole the show but Danielle is a breathtakingly beautiful bride. Can't wait for the next installment!
ReplyDeletelimbe dolls - Thanks! I was finally able to exhale a little bit. Adele and I are headed to the spa after the reception.
DeleteDefinitely a spike in tissue sales, we all need them - this was sooo beautiful. Loved every shot and can't wait for the next instalment. Congratulations, you've done a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteCarrickters - Thanks! Keep those tissues handy. There is a good chance you will need them for part 2.
DeleteBravo! The bride & the wedding party are gorgeous! ...And the details...let's just say I'm looking forward to part II!
ReplyDeleteSonya - Whew! I'm glad you made it to the wedding on time. Thanks for coming.
DeleteThis was BEAUTIFUL! You've got me wanting to walk down the aisle again. Uh oh, I wasn't supposed to say that out loud, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your photos! You captured the real essence of a wedding and I have to say it again, that church is perfection.
I'm super excited about the next installment.
Beautiful work Vanessa!
Tracy - Thanks! Weddings can make you lose your mind and all of a sudden you are wanting to do it again. I feel you. I love weddings and would go to one every month if I could. Makes you believe in love all over again.
DeleteI love how this turned out. The wedding was indeed beautiful. The kids were so cute, especially with Ciana and her petals. I can't wait for the next installemnt!!
ReplyDeleteBrini - I am pretty happy with the results so far. I think my dolls work hard to make me happy. Or is that the other way around? Maybe I work hard to make them happy.
DeleteJulian in his suit ... cute! Rod's daughter ... usually I don't care for that doll line, but she looked great in that dress. Glimpses of the guests. The bride progressing down the aisle. Rod seeming to widen his eyes - I almost would swear he seemed to do that as if he were jolted by the beauty of Danielle. Danielle's hair and gown. Ah, very satisfying.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all the effort and time you shared. I have never seen a lovelier ceremony. Joe and Wanda and the girls are soooo happy to be there and to see this Event unfold.
D7ana - LOL! Your overview was like a sports play by play. I pictured you with a mic in hand whispering as though you were at a tennis match. So glad your guests are enjoying themselves so far.
DeleteEnfin ! Je suis très contente, je vais vite voir la vidéo !
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE all the pictures, they are so full of life and emotions that it is incredible. Awesome job, thanks for sharing it!!!
ReplyDeleteRossetti - Thanks! I just finished part 2, so it will be up in the next few hours.
DeleteAwesome. I finally had some time to sit down and watch the first half. It was amazing. All of the work and attention to details. That flower girl is precious. Everything is exceptional.
ReplyDeleteRobin - Thanks! I don't know how Danielle would have survived without her mom there. She fit in so nicely and was an incredible help.
DeleteFantastic. The dolls were beautiful walking down the aisle. The bride is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMale Doll World - Thanks so much! I really appreciate you watching the video.
DeleteI love the whole approach...I'd like to do something like this myself. Never thought of putting it to video..what an awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteTallulah - Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
