Whoo hoo! It's official! I'm so glad that Melanie didn't suddeny pop up to object! Can't wait for the reception!
ReplyDeleteI teared up so much at this! And my heart about stopped for a moment when they said speak now or forever hold your peace and there was a shot of the doors, even though I was sure nothing would happen.
ReplyDeleteLoved it... I was filled with happy emotions throughout the ceremony--parts 1 and 2.
ReplyDeleteYou did a more than a fabulous job with this wedding, Vanessa! I cannot give you enough praise for how well everything has turned out.
(Clap, clap, clap!)

Clap, clap, clap!! I loved it Vanessa (sniffle)! You really put this together so well. Happy Sunday to you!
ReplyDeleteVickey
Verona - I'm so happy I successfully got them down the aisle. We cam all now enjoy the reception.
ReplyDeleteAlura - I meant to warn some of you to bring your tissues. The only way I knew no one was coming through the door was because of S.W.A.T. See you at the reception.
DBG - THANKS! I am extremely happy the way it turned out. I feel just as exhausted as I did on my real wedding day.
Georgia Girl - Thanks! Rod, Danielle, and Adele did most of the work. At least that's what I'm telling myself. See you and your ladies at the reception.
Cograts to the married couple! i too thought melanie was going to come through the doors but im glad she chose not to!
ReplyDeletewilliam - Thanks. Chynadoll had that place on lock down with police. There was no way Melanie was getting anywhere near that church.
DeleteAhaha, I see that I wasn't the only one who was holding my breath wondering if Melanie was going to come through the doors. Should have known better... she has more class than that. Congrats to the happy couple! The wedding was beautiful Vanessa. You did a wonderful job. Are we gonna see the electric side at the reception?
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Would love to be able to design a tiara for a next wedding if required.
ReplyDeleteClap, clap, clap!! I loved it Vanessa! I agree with dbg. There are no words to express the wonderful job you did with all this! I too was filled with emotion throughout the ceremony--parts 1 and 2. I was happy, I was curious, I hoping Melanie didn't show up, and I marveled at how beautiful the church looked. You have the right amount of drama with no real drama to happen! Congrats to the couple and to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ceremony! As usual, the kids steal the show!
ReplyDeleteYou know how to bring the drama. You really do. I cried again, I laughed again and as usual, I loved it. Bravo. ♥
ReplyDeleteZDollCloset - Melanie was probably keeping busy with work. I'm sure she was trying to keep busy. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteThe Duke of Swann - I will keep that in mind for some other event. I don't see anymore weddings happening in Morristown any time soon. I had two tiaras that I had on stand by but decided to go with the veil. Of course they are nowhere near the beauty of the jewelry you create.
Ms Leo - Such wonderful comments! Thanks! I try to bring as much realism as I can to the videos. There may be a little realistic drama happening at the reception. We will have to wait and see.
Vita Plastica - Thanks! With those two beautiful girls you have, I know you know about kids stealing the show.
Muff - Did you remember to bring your tissues? I teared up after seeing the final video for the first time. Every video I had done with them in in, played through my mind. They literally spent a whole year working on their relationship. That is a long time in dolly world. I never planned for them to get together, it really just happened. I'm so happy for them.
vanessa, your camera stayed too long on those doors. But,I'm glad the wedding ended beautifully. This was a beautful wedding.
ReplyDeletedrupay - LOL! I'm glad it ended with them being married. I put way too much time in that wedding for there to be some knucklehead trying to cause problems. Had Melanie shown up, the next event in the church would have been her funeral.
DeleteP.S. I will be emailing you in a couple days. You are next on my list.
I hope that the Amazon Forest will forgive me. I'm speechless, really
ReplyDeleteSergio - I am totally clueless about the Amazon Forest. Glad you enjoyed the video!
DeleteNow that was well worth the wait. OMG, OMG, so glad they are married. Hats off to Melanie too, she didn't ruin it!! I sure hope Curtis and Cara are enjoying thmeselves too. I know Curtis will make it a point to give his college friend a big hug, especially since he paid dearly for the gift! Even my son was amazed!
ReplyDeleteBrini - Thanks! I, too, am glad they are married. For many reasons. I spotted Curtis and Cara. They were all smiles, so I do think they are enjoying themselves. I can't wait to see the gift!
DeleteExquisitely beautiful! I enjoyed all the little human details with the kids. Julian looked so earnest when he handed over the ring.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the dancing at the reception!
limbe dolls - Thanks! Kids being totally quiet through an event is very unlikely. They just can't help themselves. I've been picking out music over the past month for the reception. I have to keep reminding myself that I only have 4-6 mins at a shot.
DeleteI must admit, I did wonder about whether anyone would come through those doors, you had us all on the edge of our seats. Really liked their vows as well, a beautiful wedding. Now I'm looking forward to the good food at the reception. (I think Sergio meant he used a lot of tissues, by the way.)
ReplyDeleteCarrickters - There were moments when I thought someone would walk through those doors. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for clearing up Sergio's comment. I had been on Amazon.com that morning and that is the only thing on my mind when I read Amazon. ROFL. That is funny and pitiful all at the same time. I've been menu planning like this is a real party.
DeleteAwesome, fantastic, marvellous, superb... My English vocabulary isn't rich enough to describe the wedding... Maybe with two I would be able to: sniffle, sniffle...
ReplyDeleteRossetti - What wonderful comments! *sniffle* *sniffle*
DeleteNow THAT'S how you get married! LOVED IT! So beautiful and you still managed to scare the mess out of me when you shot a picture of the church door. I thought for sure Melanie was going to storm in trying to "speak now" and mess up all that peace, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLil' Julian kills me, sitting down like he's been standing for hours. He's so cute, and I love his personality.
Dare I ask if we will follow the newlyweds on their honeymoon? :)
Congrats!
Tracy - LOL! Melanie would have sho nuff messed up all that peace. You know Julian is not used to those church shoes. His little feet were probably killing him. We will see them on their honeymoon, but they are not leaving for their honeymoon right away. They will be staying at the Hotel Monaco for the night. Yes, you will be there.
DeleteLOL, I loved reading through the comments and seeing how worried everyone was that Melanie would show up XD
ReplyDeleteThe wedding was beautiful, and what an amazing effort you've gone to, making it that way. Absolutely fantastic, and I've loved how much participation this has created among the doll bloggers!!!
Very, very, very cool, and CONGRATS!!!! to the lucky couple!
Heather - Thanks! I still don't know why everyone was so worried. Did they think she was capable of getting past S.W.A.T? Heads would have rolled. The blogger participation has been phenomenal. I'm sure Rod and Danielle will speak on that soon.
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I congratulate you on the video. The lighting, framing, details ... looks like a video of a royal wedding. A great job. The coupledeclared their love with words very romantic. I cried too. It is a very lovingmarriage. I think not find the words to thank you for this awesome work. You do not stop very pleasantly surprised. Keep in touch.
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks. Now that you mention it, this wedding was very close the the date of the Royal wedding. I'm touched that you were moved by the wedding. I will see you at the reception.
DeleteAwwww.... sniff... that was so nice.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you put a lot of hard work into your dio, and it was just lovely to view. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Roville - Thanks so much! I like to think the dolls are doing all the work. It keeps me from thinking about the time I spend on these tiny creatures.
Delete**sniffles** That was beautiful! You certainly have a way of playing with our emotions. One moment we are crying, the next we're laughing and then back to crying. More tissues please. Now looking forward to the reception....let's CELEBRATE!
ReplyDeleteDebbie - Thenka! I am so glad you remembered your tissues. I think your son even got choked up at one point, but he quickly got a hold of himself. He didn't want his little sister having any ammunition against him. See you at the reception!
DeleteYOU ARE THE MASTER. Thats all I'm going to say.
ReplyDeletemustiwait - Thanks dear! I appreciate that. Based on what I am seeing on your blog, you are pretty darn good yourself.
DeleteI adore little Julian, so of course, I was ohhhh he's sooo adorable when he sat down and blanked before handing over the ring. (Yep, I gotta get a Julian to go with Tawny Tommy and the other lil kids.)
ReplyDeleteRod's face and Danielle's face seemed suffused with love. OMG, did I write that? Glad Melanie did not show up. S.W.A.T. have powerful, but against Melanie? Let's say, I am glad she decided to walk away. See, growth on her part. Yay!
Disco Wanda used every tissue Joe had in his pocket. Hanna slipped out to get more tissues. The ceremony was lovely. Thanks for presenting it to us and letting us "attend" by photo proxy.
D7ana - Julian had been waiting the whole ceremony for his part to come. I guess his little feet were hurting. Suffused. I will have to look that one up. That is a good one. Glad your guests are enjoying themselves. I imagine Disco Wanda will live up to her name at the wedding reception.
DeleteMy original comments are in cyberspace. I figured out what was wrong. ANYWAY, I absolutely loved the wedding. I was grinning from cheek to cheek and something about the Marine being there made the tears that were welled up pop out. I just realized in my previous comment I called Julian by the "J" name of the little boy in my wedding. Glad it didn't go through. LOL! Anyway, he was six and sat down on the floor during the ceremony because his feet hurt. LOL!
ReplyDeleteKenya - You know Rod is retired military, too. So we had to represent. That is hilarious that you mixed up Julian with the other little boy. For me not to have kids, it's a little surprising that I know them like the back of my hand. So glad you enjoyed it. We will see you at the reception.
DeleteCongrats to the Married couple! I loved parts 1 and 2. Brava Vanessa on a job well done! The work you put into this project is just wonderful. It got all of us teary eyed lol. I look forward to your next adventures :)
ReplyDeleteChynadoll - Thanks! So glad you enjoyed the wedding and that you had guests in attendance. We will see you at the reception!
