I told you guys this is the year of "gettin' it in". This is my third post since yesterday, and post four is ready to go, too.
I showed you guys some Bratz clothes packs I found on sale at TRU. I use their clothes for my older Stacy sized dolls. I am featuring three of the outfits today. I have four more outfits to show later this week.
The first pack had these two outfits.
I would probably pair these two items with other pieces, but I wanted to show it as they presented it. I think that top would look great with a pair of jeans. The frog ears are on the shoulders. So cute. The sleeves are a tad long, but that's okay. This outfit came with a pink leather like belt that will come in handy for other outfits.
This is an LOL cat shirt with the cutest jean skirt. I would rock that skirt.
The third outfit was in the pack like this. When I took it out, I was pleasantly surprised at all the layers. I thought it was just a one piece dress with a sheer skirted bottom. Oh, but no.
Under the skirt is a set of jean short overalls.
Underneath the overalls is a slip type dress. Let's look at it on a real model.
This is Dasia's granddaughter. Now just this part of the outfit looks too grown for her.
But it you add the sheer skirt, all of a sudden she has a really cute outfit that can be used as a dance outfit, or a formal dress.
She loves overalls, so this is right up her alley.
Here is the outfit like it was in the package. I think it was cuter in the package like this, but I like it better on the girls the other ways I showed.
Hope you will come back for part 2 of the Bratz fashion show. For the next show I will try some of the outfits on the newer style Stacy dolls. I know some of you are wondering if they will work for them, too.
They are very nice, and the third outfit is simply amazing, Dasia's granddaughter has got the sweetest smile!
ReplyDeletebilla's dolls - I am soooo happy I found these on sale. That 3rd one is quite the find.
DeleteThose clothing packs are really nice! It's nice to see they reflect current styles!
ReplyDeleteapril - The Bratz clothes were always very trendy. Sometimes a little too trendy, if you asked some parents. Lol.
DeleteThese look like really nice fits for this Stacie. All the parts for that last one gives it a lot of versatility.
ReplyDeletePhyllis - Now if I can just find time to do some proper school stories. At least they will have new clothes, even if we never get to see them.
DeleteI was never thought that Bratz clothes can fit on Stacy doll. Thank you to share with us.
ReplyDeleteShasarignis - You are so welcome. I've been using Bratz clothes for them for a number of years.
DeleteThese fashions are really cute!!!! Thanks for the heads up that the Bratz fashions fit the older Stacey (and Janet, I suppose, too).
ReplyDeleteI need to catch up on reading your posts.

DBG - Aren't they cute? Yes, Stacy and Janet are the same size. I used the name the general name for those who weren't familiar with Janet. To be totally honest, I was in such a hurry yesterday to get the post up, the only name I could remember was Stacy. I couldn't even remember their character names, except for Nikaya. Lol.
DeleteIt's great that you can find clothes for your smaller dolls. Mattel never produced many individual outfits for these girls, which I think is a shame.
ReplyDeleteBarb - Mattel is very good at putting out dolls and not having clothes for them. Poor Happy Family Grandma and all the kids.
DeleteI like those outfits. The last one is great.Especially I like the overalls.
ReplyDeleteSunita - Overalls always look so cute on kids.
DeleteI had to go back and take a look at part one. I like these outfits too! WOW, don't you just love separates!
ReplyDeleteMs. Leo - Yes, I love separates and great sales!
