Last we saw Shantavia and Jada, they were at the new Asian restaurant with Bruce. They've returned from the restaurant and Jada is getting ready for bed.
Jada is enjoying her bubble bath.
Shantavia is getting ready to brush her teeth.
"Are you washing? I don't hear anything." (Shantavia)
"I'm elaxing." (Jada)
Shantavia burst out laughing.
"Do you mean, relaxing?" (Shantavia)
"Yes, elaxing." (Jada)
Shantavia finishes brushing her teeth, and goes to help Jada.
"Just a few minutes more." (Shantavia)
"I lost my scrubby." (Jada)
Downstairs, Bruce is watching some tv, while waiting for Shantavia to finish.
"Okay, it's time to get out." (Shantavia)
"Do I have toooo?" (Jada)
"Yes, you have toooo." (Shantavia, mimicking Jada)
"Hold you tooth brush closer, so I can put the paste on it." (Shantavia)
Jada brushes her teeth, while mommy cleans the tub.
"Alright pretty lady, let's get you dressed for bed." (Shantavia)
"Mmmm, you smell good. Let's make sure you are all dry." (Shantavia)
"Mommy, I'm cold." (Jada)
"Well let's get your pjs on. You'll feel much better." (Shantavia)
"Mommy, can we go to the park tomorrow?" (Jada)
"Maybe. We'll have to wait to see what's on our schedule." (Shantavia)
"Maybe Daddy can take me?" (Jada)
"Your dad has a schedule, too, but I will do my best to get you to the park sometime this week." (Shantavia)
"Are you warmer, now?" (Shantavia)
"Yes." (Jada)
"Why don't you run downstairs and tell Mr. Bruce goodnight. But come right back." (Shantavia)
"Goodnight, Mr.Bruce!" (Jada)
"Goodnight, munchkin." (Bruce)
"Are you coming with us to the park, tomorrow?" (Jada)
"You're going to the park tomorrow?" (Bruce)
"Uh, huh." (Jada)
"Well, if your mom says I can come, I will try to come." (Bruce)
"Mommy, Mr. Bruce is coming with us to the park." (Jada)
Shantavia let's out a sigh. She's going to have to figure out how to squeeze in a visit to the park sooner than later. Jada is going to bug her until they go.
"Come give me a hug, little girl." (Shantavia)
"Okay, now climb into bed." (Shantavia)
"Goodnight. I love you." (Shantavia)
"I love you, too, Mommy." (Jada)
Shantavia turns off the light and heads downstairs to visit with Bruce.
Note to Kenya G. Johnson: I'm finally using the tub you sent me. Yay!

ReplyDeleteSee you soon!
Ana - Thanks. This house suits them very well.
DeleteI forgot all about that tub but I recognized it immediately. Nice fit! Love the bath scene. I was just saying the other day how i love that Christopher can run his own bath water and do everything. I just rub his head with shampoo and rinse it when it needs to be washed. But I do miss that little boy wrapped it a towel who I put lotion on from head to toe. Awwwww.
ReplyDeleteKenya - Shantavia will never know what it's like for her daughter to run her own bath water. But she doesn't mind. It's great bonding time. Awwww, your little man is growing up.
DeleteHello from Spain: I like the red tub. I read that is a gift. I really like this bathroom. Nice pictures of her brushing her teeth. The room of the girl is very cute. I love it. I really like the chair he is Bruce. . Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks! Yes, the red tub used to have regular bath products in it. It makes the perfect Barbie tub.
DeleteCute story. You know I love the kids!
ReplyDeleteShantavia looks like she's ready for bed too? (wink-wink)
dbg
DBG - Thanks. LOL. I was impressed that Shantavia took as much time as she did. Although Jada missed out on the bedtime story she usually gets.
DeleteMe encanta esta habitacion, bonita historia.
ReplyDeletelindaivette - Gracias. Ellos realmente disfrutan de su pequeña casa de pueblo.
DeleteYOur photos are full of life and love, I always admire your skill to make your images express those feeling as if they were human and not dolls the ones being photographed...
ReplyDeleteRossetti - Thanks! If I were a professional photographer, I think these are the moments I would want to capture with real people. It's the little moments that can make life so special.
DeleteLOL, Jada is going to the park and she don't care how she gets there!
ReplyDeleteMuff - Jada is not playing about that park. "Okay Mommy, you won't take me...where's my dad? Mr. Bruce, are you with me?" LOL.
DeleteThe tub is awesome! It's similar to one I have from Sephora. And Jada she's a very clever girl!
ReplyDeleteV - That is the perfect sized tub for Barbie. With Christmas fast approaching, I'm sure we will start seeing them with bath products. I may try to get another one. You can never have too many tubs.
