Tori and Her Boyfriend, Andrew

I know the preview of this story showed Tori with JR, but upon further thought, I wanted to find Tori a boyfriend who was more her age.

"Are you coming over or what?  (pause)  But I want to see you, today.  (pause)  I told you, my mom is still at work.  (pause)  Okay."  (Tori)

Tori sits at her vanity to freshen up her face.  She had successfully convinced her boyfriend to stop by for a visit.  He would be there shortly.

Half and hour later, Tori greets her boyfriend at the front door and escorts him upstairs.

"So I stopped what I was doing and rushed right over.  What's up?"  (Andrew)

"I just wanted to see you.  Do I have to have a reason for wanting to see my boyfriend?"  (Tori)

"Babe, I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to say it like that.  It's just that Blair and I were headed to the courts."  (Andrew)
"You'd rather play basketball with Blair, than hang out with me?"  (Tori)
"Never mind.  I'm here and I'm happy to see you.  What do you want to do?"  (Andrew)

Tori and Andrew start off by watching a little t.v.

But before long, Tori gets a little playful with Andrew.

"Now isn't this much better than playing ball with Blair?"  (Tori)

"Much better."  (Andrew)

"Mmmm, you smell good."  (Andrew)

"Andrew, that tickles."  (Tori, laughing)

"We better stop.  My mother will be home soon."  (Tori)
"I know.  I know."  (Andrew)

"Thanks for coming over."  (Tori)

"You better stop, so I can get out of here before it's too late."  (Andrew)

"Too late for what?"  (Tori)
"You know if your mother catches me up here, she is going to freak out."  (Andrew)
"She's not going to freak out.  My mother likes you."  (Tori)
"And I want to keep it that way."  (Andrew)

"I'll call you later."  (Andrew)
"You better."  (Tori)

    1. Verona - Yes, I agree. Or at least entertained downstairs, not upstairs.

  2. Uh oh ... who's Tori's mother? Not that I am one to tattle ... no.

Tori = Miss Fresh Pot (showing my age there, lol).

  6. uhhh, poor guy, I see Tori is kind of girl who will be jealous about the amount of time Andrew is spending with his friends and will try to interrupt.

    1. jewel snake - Tori is an only child and commands a lot of attention. Hopefully as she gets older she will learn to temper this behavior a bit.

  7. LOL, I had the same question as Debbie. How old is this girl before I get all judgmental about underage shenanigans. Pissy tailed boys, as my mother called them, would not be allowed in a girls bedroom unless she was 30!

She seems like she needs a lot of attention. He must really like her.

    2. LOL! Age 30 and married. Good thing Andrew respects her and her mom, most young guys would have taken advantage of the situation!

    3. LOL! Muff you are too crazy. All I know is boys were not allowed in my bedroom unless they were related and one other who was a close friend who was only interested in girls for friendship. He was one of my best friends.

    4. Muff - Now we know where you get your sense of humor...from your mother. Tori is 17 and representing all the rebellious, "I'm going to do what I want to do", teens. I helped raise a few of those, and in more ways than one, I was one myself. Although, I never had any boys in my room. You had to go through my brothers room to get to my room. Not ideal for sneaking people in. Not to mention, I was too afraid of my mother to ever do that.

  8. LOL at everyones comments. Tori is young and subject to make a few misguided decisions along the way. I believe she is a senior in High School. Hmmm wonder if she'll be sneaking boys in her dorm or sneaking in the boys dorm when she leaves for college. So glad her mom did not walk in on the "childs play" or she would have went the thru the skylights!

    1. These days not only are dorms co-educational -- guys and girls living on the same floor, just with different bathrooms -- at many schools students can room in the dorms with a roommate of the opposite sex.

Where is Tori's dad? If he's not around much that may be why she is so clingy with Andrew.

    2. AG Lanc - You sound like a person who is well versed in the teenager. Yes, most of them will have missteps along the way. You just hope that they make it through only slightly bruised. Limbe dolls is right about the coed colleges. I was just on the campus of University of GA a few weeks ago, and it was coed.

    3. limbe dolls - Tori's dad is in the picture, but not in the home. We will see him soon.

  9. Wait a minute, Tori is how old? Having a boy in the bedroom is a no-no. Andrew is a good kid. He seems to have better judgement than Tori. She seems a bit naive and wants to have her way....otherwise cute story.

    Love your decor!

    1. Georgia Girl - Yes, those teenage boys and girls are not to be trusted. Nowadays a lot of the girls are being the aggressor. LOL at the comment 'she seems to be naive and wants to have her way'. Let me guess, you haven't raised too many teenage girls. That is the m-o of a lot of the teenage girls I've come across.

  10. Good question - exactly how old is Tori? Andrew seems very sensible and they do make a cute couple. But maybe Tori's mum needs to have a little talk with Tori about ground rules.

    1. Carrickters - Tori is 17. Tori's mum has laid out the ground rules. Tori has just chosen not to follow them. I doubt this is the first time she has broken the rules.

  11. I'm wondering how old Tori is too... lol... I'm guessing young, because only teenaged hormones would make Andrew ditch a standing appointment with his bros to go hang out and watch tv with her. LOL!!!

Seriously though... making him come over for no reason at all when he had plans with the guys, not cool!!

    1. Heather - Tori is 17 and a wee bit controlling. Tori told me to tell you it wasn't for no reason at all. She wanted to see him. In her book, that was a good enough reason. LOL.

    2. Hahaha, yes, I guess the perspective on "A good reason" changes dramatically between the age of 17 and 34 XD

  12. NOTE TO ALL: Loved all the comments and got the reaction I expected from this post. Tori is 17. She knows she is not supposed to have young men in her bedroom, but like the typical teen, she pushes the boundaries. Her mom and dad are divorced, but she does she her dad regularly. She and Andrew are not sexually active, that I know of.

    1. Ms. Leo - Yeah, my mother would have flipped out, too. Tori is a lot bolder than I. If it were me, I would have been hearing all sorts of noises thinking my mother was coming.
