The Taylors have made it to DisneyWorld! Nicole and Julian are beside themselves with excitement. Jacob is excited, too, but he doesn't really know why. He's just feeding off the energy of the other two.
Entering the park.
The family is trying to locate Cafe Mickey on the map. They are standing in front of Cinderella's castle.
Still trying to get their bearings with the map.
Next time we see them they will have made it to the restaurant. They need a nice hearty breakfast before tackling the likes of DisneyWorld. Are you excited, yet?
I'm not intentionally dragging this out, but I had to squeeze in a new sofa, and a few other things, between stories.
I'm a bit giddy over this. They're going to have so much fun! I turn into a child at the mention of anything Disney related. :)
ReplyDeleteAlura - I get giddy, too. I just located the pictures I took when I went to Disney World. I hope to incorporate some of them in the stories.
DeleteI haven't been to Disney World in many years. Your photos bring back wonderful memories. Thank you for that! I love the way you did these photos. Looks like they really are standing in front of Cinderella's castle. Great job!
ReplyDeleteCindi - Thanks. DisneyWorld brings out the kid in everyone. Not that we need help with that. LOL.
DeleteI am glad the Taylors made it.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are delightful!
dbg
DBG - Thanks. I'm glad they made it, too. Whne I first got the airplane, I envisioned a family with kids flying off to DisneyWorld. I love when a dream becomes reality.
DeleteNeat to see you doing some compositing. I know the Taylors will have a magical time!
ReplyDeletelimbe dolls - Thanks. It's hard to do something as big as Disney without some photo magic.
DeleteFor a begining it's great ! The family looks like she is really at Disney. I love the 1st photo with family's car at the entrance door of Disney. You have a vivid imagination.
ReplyDeleteClaude - Thanks. I am going to need that vivid imagination to pull off this Disney trip.
DeleteHello from Spain: I like the photos of the park. Cinderella Castle is very nice. Entry into the park with the red car is very real. Great job. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks! We hope to have lots more for you to see soon.
DeleteI'm sure that Nicole and Julian are on top of the world right now LOL! Hopefully they'll figure out that map.
ReplyDeleteVerona - Nicole and Julian are willing to forego the restaurant, but Danielle is insisting on a good breakfast.
DeleteI love the photo where they are all checking out the map. It looks like they are among the 1:1 people ;-D
ReplyDeleteD7ana - They are among the 1:1 people. Aren't they? LOL.
DeleteGlad they made it...those maps can be confusing, huh?... but they will get the hang of it!
ReplyDeleteLoretta - Getting lost in DisneyWorld could be fun!
DeleteThis is so cool! Are they going to see the fireworks or go to Fantasmic? Maybe they could go on Expidition everest!
ReplyDeletesisilovessinging - Well, you are awfully excited. Yes, they will probably do the fireworks. They are going to skip Fantasmic. Danielle has read that it's pretty scary for kids. She doesn't want any of the kids, particularly Jacob, to have a terrifying experience.
DeleteI love these pics! Great job Vanessa! Did you use photo shop? I need to get some type of photo editing software. Do you know of a good one for a beginner?
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Thanks! Check out the post I did today. There may be something you can use there.
DeleteTell Danielle to get a stroller. Disney World is no joke for walking ;-) Love how you did this.
ReplyDeleteKenya - Someone on flickr said the same thing yesterday. They will have to rent a stroller. They didn't bring one from VA. With what the airlines charge for luggage, they could just buy a new one. But they will find a place to rent one soon.
DeleteOh my! how did you do those pics?? they look so real!! Last summer I was going to visit disney world with my sisters, but in the end everything had to be cancelled. I wanted so much to visit the Magic Kingdom (I've been to Eurodisney but is not the same by far). I'm looking forward to the next Disney post!
ReplyDeleteRossetti - I merged two pictures in my digital imaging software. Sorry you didn't get to go to Disney World. Hope you are able to in the future. It's a wonderful place to visit!
DeleteNice photos I love disney Im ready to go again. I wonder if my 21 and 18 year old would want to go too LOL.
ReplyDeleteMustiwait - I'm sure they would go if you paid. My first time I was 26 or 27, and I had a ball!
DeleteOn their! Tell R&D that learning to read a map is a great lesson for the kids. Get Nicole in training! Learning doesn't stop on vacation.
ReplyDeleteMs. Leo - Oops, I forgot to respond to this. Reading that Disney map was a family lesson. Nicole did much better than Rod and Danielle. I think she had a better time recognizing the pictures and knowing what they meant.
