I made some scalloped potatoes this morning and decided to put a couple new dinners in the Etsy shop. There is a choice between a nice cut of beef and a chicken breast.
Now I need your help. I made parmesan chicken the other day and I can't think of anything to go with it. I tried spaghetti, but I wasn't really feeling it. Any suggestions?
How about rice with the parmesan chicken?
ReplyDeleteFrannie, that's a good idea. I tried it with fried rice. I will try it with plain rice and see if that's better. Thanks.
DeleteBeen looking at chicken parm recipes to get some ideas.
DeleteMe: What would you serve with parmesan chicken?
ReplyDeleteHusband: A green and a yellow.
Me: Be more specific.
Husband: A green vegetable.
Me: Like what???
Husband: Spinach, broccoli, cabbage.
Me: What about the yellow?
Husband: Corn.
He had and still has no idea I meant doll food.

What about grilled zucchini and eggplants?
ReplyDeleteSergio - Thanks. I will look into that. I love zucchini and eggplant, but have never had it with parmesan chicken.
DeleteHow about plain pasta and eggplant?
ReplyDeleteVerona - Thanks. That's two for eggplant. Who knew it was so popular. I grilled eggplant a few days ago. I tried plain pasta. It's great in real life, but I didn't like the way it looked with the doll sized chicken.
DeleteHello from Spain: I agree com Frannie and to add a little rice. your Realistic creations I have hunger ... a great job. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks for the reply. Sorry to make you hungry. Hope you find something good to eat.
Deletebeef is much healthier for choice!lollololol!
ReplyDeletecoolsinger - LOL! I would have one of each. I like both.
DeleteChicken would be my preference. Spinach or zucchini coins would be my side choice. Mashed potatoes could go with chicken parm if you had a salad with it.
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy.
D7ana - Thanks for the suggestions. I am a little surprised at the zucchini and eggplant tips. All this food talk, I may need to go have another apple.
