Hello guys! It's been a minute. I would love to say I've been living in total bliss since we last spoke, but I haven't. I had to start new medicine and I've been feeling like crap the past week. The first thing I did when I was able to get out of bed, was go straight to my sewing machine. Sewing for Dasia makes me feel better. I made her a new top, which I am calling a dashiki. It will be available in the store soon. Until next time....
Dasia looks ravishing in her Dashiki. Feel better soon, Vanessa.

ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa, I hope you will feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteDasia's new top is beautiful!
Never heard about dashiki before, so had to google it. Thanks to you I'm learning something new :) Lovely outfit, Dashia looks very vivid in it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you will feel better soon! Stay strong and take care of yourself, please!
Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's true that crafting, or doing something that you love, makes us feel better... I hope you feel better each day, dear and you get better soon.. The top is perfect for Dasia - great designing! s h a s h a
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that your medication is making you feel awful. Hope you feel better soon. Your sewing is wonderful! Dasia looks great in that top.
ReplyDeleteHope that you're feeling better soon. I had a go-round last year with medication myself.
ReplyDeleteSince we're on the subject of sewing, when you finish a seam with Fray Check, how do you keep the edge from feeling crunchy? I think maybe I squeeze out too much Fray Check, but I'm not really sure I can do any better.
Feeling badly can be a downer. I'm glad that Dasia can lift your spirits! Funny I just found. A top similar to this that I got from the doll store a while back. I thought it would make a good dashiki too. I think it needs some gold trim. I'll have to show it.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see a post. As much as I love them, taking care of yourself comes first. We'll wait.
ReplyDeleteI love the new top. It fits Dasia well.
I hope you continue to feel better.
Hey Vanessa, Get better! Dasha looks fantastic those colors are great on her!
ReplyDeleteLove the new top! Hope you get to feeling better soon! :-)
ReplyDeleteHop you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in the top you made both on their own, and how they look on Dasha in particular.
Hey guys! Thanks for the comments. I am feeling better, but with the new meds I may be sicker more during the month than I was in the past. Glad you like the top. Right now I'm working on Dasia orders from my store, but I will be posting again real soon. Have a wonderful holiday!
ReplyDeleteBARB - You are probably squeezing out way too much fray check. The next bottle you get, make sure the hole you make is small.
