Van's Doll Treasures primarily features Barbie and other fashion dolls her size. I make and sell 1/6 scale doll furniture for Barbie and Ken. The link to my Etsy shop is available on the right hand side. I prepare dioramas and videos that feature my doll families.
The slightly dropped waist is a really good move for giving Lammily some semblance of a figure.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the same shape in a patterned fabric would de-frumpify her?
Smaller Places - Tell us how you really feel about this doll line. LOL. You know I shortened this dress and I think it works better on her short. I'll post a picture of it when I post the third outfit.
DeleteI'm not a Lammily fan, but this dress is really cute! How does Dasia feel about you diverting your attention to a new wardrobe for someone else? LOL :-)
ReplyDeleteCindi - Thanks. Dasia is not happy at all, but I sent her on vacation with all those new clothes she has, to get her out of my hair.
DeleteThat looks really nice on her. I think she will end up with a great wardrobe too.
ReplyDeleteBrini - Thanks. It's just going to take a minute to figure out what styles work best for her body shape.
DeleteYou're off to a nice start!

DBG - Thanks. I shortened this dress yesterday, and I like it better on her short. I will post a picture when I do another outfit for her.
DeleteOkay, great!

I like the way this dress falls on her - it gives her such a shape that it almost made me wonder if you'd rebodied her!
ReplyDeletejSarie - Thanks. I have a couple other tricks up my sleeve to hopefully disguise that long torso she has.
DeleteWell, this Lammily looks a lot better than her cousin, Ms. Wallflower-next-door. Your dress is really flattering on her. Now she has some style. A pair of strappy sandals and she's good to go!
ReplyDeleteapril - This one could use a haircut. Just haven't had the time. I'm looking forward to the challenge to make her not look so 'frumpy'.
