Master Bedroom Done

This morning as I was looking through my fabrics, I ran across a pretty floral that worked perfectly in Danielle's master bedroom.  After that the room just fell into place.  There will be little changes, like a new lamp on Danielle's side of the bed.  I may also add mirror acetate to the large wall mirror. She's hoping Rod won't think it's too feminine.

Here she is enjoying the fruits of her labor.

She also decided on horizontal stripes for the boys' room.  I have to redo these walls.  I painted these lines just to get an idea.  I had a few problems with the painter's tape sticking to the paper.

  2. The rooms look AMAZING! I'm in love with Danielle and Rod's room and the boys room is just too cute! I can't wait to see a full shot of the home w/decor.

Did you say Rod & D will share this house with other familie or did you get this home just for them?

    1. Tracy - Thanks! Now I want to completely redecorate the whole house. Darn it! I think I can do it without destroying any of the original house.

This is just their house. The other two families that won't have to share a house is Dasia and Roberta. The other two KidKraft houses will be multi shared.

    2. Dasia and her family, Danielle's mom and Danielle and Rod are my favorites. I do like Ian as well...hopefully, we'll get to see his bachelor pad again.

    1. Georgia Girl - Thanks! It feels good to have a room completely done. On to the next one. I haven't made a color decision about Jacob's bed. I'm going to do the room first then decide. I want to see what colors pop out.

  5. That bedroom looks very luxurious. Danielle certainly deserves her rest. And the boys' room looks like it will be a lot of fun and the scene of many car bed races.

    1. Carrickters - Thanks! She is very pleased with the results. I'm hoping the red in the boys room won't be too much of a stimulant and keep them awake.

  7. Oh wow, I am loving the Master Bedroom! It is cozy and luxurious! I really like how the boys room is too. I recently found some buttons at Joanne's Fabric that were little airplanes and they had some that were cars and trucks too. Those might make some good wall art for the boys room!

This house is really coming along nicely!
