The End Of The Day (Photostory)

It's the end of a very busy day at The Bridal Boutique and the ladies are finalizing business before heading home.

"Well it's been an eventful day to say the least."  (Jackie)
"An eventful day, with a lot of sales.  Now that's my kind of day."  (Robin)

"It's been so busy, I forgot to ask how the interview went.  Do you think she's a good fit?"  (Jackie)

"The interview went well.  She seems qualified and very interested in the position.  This is my first time taking a closer look at her resume.  Did you want to take a look?"  (Robin)

"No thank you.  Maybe tomorrow.  I am done for the evening.  I am going home to relax and kick my feet up."  (Jackie)
"Lucky you.  I may be entertaining two five year olds this evening."  (Robin)
"Two?"  (Jackie)
"Yes.  I thought I would surprise Kourtney and have Grace's daughter over to play."  (Robin)
"You are a brave soul."  (Jackie)

 Back at the James' residence...
"Do you hear what I hear?  That sounds like mommy's car."  (Alan)

He was right.  Before too long, Lena enters the studio apartment.
"Hey babe! Boy are we glad to see you." (Alan)
"Have you guys been just sitting around all day in your shorts?"  (Lena)

"Honey, please don't tell me you were sitting in front of this t.v. all day."  (Lena)
"You know I had to get caught up on all the playoff games."  (Alan)
"Ummm hmmm.  Did you feed my baby today?"  (Lena)
"Of course.  Now you know I take care of my little man."  (Alan)
"You do when you aren't totally consumed with basketball games."  (Lena)

"Hey little man.  Did Daddy treat you right, today?  He didn't ignore my baby, did he?"  (Lena)
"Hand him here, honey."  (Lena)

"Somebody needs a diaper change, but other than that, you look okay.  I guess Daddy did okay."  (Lena)

"Did you get everything done? And what about the interview?  How did it go?"  (Alan)
"I think it went well, but you never know.  She's going to call me in a couple days and let me know."  (Lena)

"Well I hope you get it, but you know I got your back if you don't."  (Alan)
"I know, but getting this job would be a step in the right direction towards me furthering my design career."  (Lena)
"I know.  I know."  (Alan)
"All I can do for now is wait.  Honey, do you think we can talk about our moving plans tonight?" (Lena)
"Tonight?"  (Alan)
"Oh goodness.  I know what that means.  More basketball watching.  Let me go change my baby."  (Lena)

"Hey peanut.  Are you going to be a sports fanatic like your Daddy?  I hope not, but I'm probably fighting a losing battle."  (Lena)

    1. DBG - It's nice to have a doll that has back. I'm glad she's comfortable with it. It's a good thing she's in fashion. She may have to make herself some pants that will fit.

  13. Lena is a beautiful doll! All of the dolls look gorgeous. I just love the babies' room. It got my biological clock raging. LOL! I already am fighting my maternal instincts. ^_^

    1. KenyaDoll - I am loving my new Lena doll. It probably doesn't help your maternal instincts that Mother's Day is upon us. Lena said, go for it! She loves being a mom.

  14. I have found two pair of dress shoes that work well for those bigger action figures. They do need a shoe alternative. I notice you baby has the same paint issues as mine. We all need a day of just sitting around in our undies. Great story!

    1. Ms. Leo - Thanks for the tip. I will check for the female action figures. What paint issues are you referring to on the baby. I don't see any. Are you talking about the short eyebrows? If so, I think that's accurate for babies. Other than that, I didn't see anything.
