It Really Is A Small World (Photostory)

Danielle and the family have left Cafe Disney and are headed to "It's A Small World", which is a mini amusement park for the younger kids.  There are people already waiting to get inside.  I guess they are trying to avoid the long lines and have arrived a little early.

Kira is there with her daughter.  She and Carmelia have struck up a conversation.

"Mom they are taking forever to open."  (Shelley)
"Won't be much longer."  (Mom)

"Mom, they have the twist and twirl ride."  (Carla)
"Sounds dangerous."  (Carmelia)

The Taylor family has arrived.  They took a detour to find the stroller rental place.

"Okay guys, it's going to be a few minutes before the park opens.  Let's wait right here."  (Danielle)
"Isn't that pastor Carmelia?" (Rod)

"Oh my, that is her.  Let's go say hello."  (Danielle)

"Pastor Carmelia, how are you?"  (Danielle)
"Oh, it's the newlyweds!  How are you guys?"  (Pastor)
"We are doing great.  I never imagined I'd see you here at DisneyWorld."  (Danielle)
"I promised the kids we'd do DisneyWorld this year."  (Pastor)

"Oh and there is your cute little ring bearer.  Hello Jacob."  (Pastor)

While they continue to get caught up, we can take a look at a few of the rides.

Here is the twist and twirl ride Carmen was referring to.  Off in the distance you can see the Disney Monorail train.

Julian is going to love the Spidey-Man ride.  (I just found it at the thrift store a few days ago.)  The Mickey Wizard Motorcycle ride is right next to it.  (I got the Mickey snow globe from DisneyWorld back in 1996.

Tea cup rides are famous at DisneyWorld.  We couldn't leave those out.  A simple merry go ride is there as well.

When we return, we will get to see the kids enjoying the park.

    1. Kenya - Thanks! The Mattel ride was $27. My twist and twirl was $1 and I stole the lazy susan from my spice cabinet.

  3. How cute. This is definitely a holiday to remember. And it's amazing how often you meet friends and neighbours when you are far away on holiday.

    1. Carrickters - Thanks. Hopefully they will remember this trip for a long time to come. When I went to the doctor on Friday, one of my docs had just returned from DisneyWorld, and one of the nurses was going there next week. And one of the blogs I follow, the lady just returned from Animal Kingdom. Small world.

    1. sisilovessinging - Thanks. It's A Small World is an attraction in Magic Kingdom, but it's actually a boat ride, not amusement park rides.

  5. I have many great memories of Small World. It was also the best place to be on a hot and humid Florida day! The teacup rides were so much fun. I know everyone will have a blast! :-)

    1. Cindi - Nice to know someone who actually went there. I was an adult when I went, so I skipped Magic Kingdom. I just hope all that twisting and turning won't get them sick so soon after breakfast.

  13. I love this it is just simply lovely. And I love how you have the Hannah Montana ice cream shop sign in the back ground. That's the perfect place for those playsets since she is a Disney character and almost all of them say Hannah's name on it. Nice way of putting it to use.

May I just say one thing, You are soooo lucky. The Hannah Montana playsets where one of the many Hannah Montana doll related things I missed out on, even though I was and still am one of here biggest fans. I only had a couple of her singing dolls, they drove my mom crazy, but she was the one who bought them so she obviously knew what she was getting herself into.

    1. Tracey - Thanks! And thanks for commenting. You are right. That HM ice cream cart is perfect for amusement parks and buffet restaurants. LOL! I've never had the pleasure of hearing the dolls. I did enjoy the theme song of the show.

    2. Your welcome. I like her theme song also.

I had an idea, now let me just say I would do something crazy like this myself but I only have a few tables and not many chairs, anyway, what if you took a bunch of diff. Tables and chairs and made a mad chatter tea party from Alice in wonderland. I'm sure rod and Danielle' s kids would enjoy that. I know that there might not be a actual part in Disney land like that seeing is how I've never gone to Florida or California, but I thought that would just be a cute idea for you to use. TTYL.

    3. Tracey - That sounds like a wonderful idea, but sounds like a lot of work and I need to get this Taylor family back to Morristown real soon. I was planning to do a trip to Epcot and Animal Kingdom, but I'm even out of time for both of those. After I do the photoshoot of them playing here, I was going to do something with Cinderella and her crew because of all the Cinderella stuff I bought. After that, they have to boogie back so these kids can get back to school.

    4. I'm glad you liked the idea. I would love to see a photography of them visiting animal kingdom and Cinderella. If I still had the Cinderella dress shop play set, I'm sure that would of been perfect as a Cinderella souvenirs shop.

I bet the kids are bummed about that. Lol I'm in 9th grade were the work seems to be lighting up because the school year is almost over, but even then I hate to wake up a 6:00 and get out of bed. I'd rather stay home and play with dolls, but I have to go to school to get an education, so I can get the job of my dreams, so then I can have a budget to spend on dolls, clothes, clothes and all that other stuff that goes along with being responsible.

Girl, the humidity did a job on my hair! My hair soaked in every drop of humidity from the air!!!That was before I had a perm.
