Rod and Danielle Go Viral! Thanks Everyone!

I have to take time out to say thank you to all my YouTube viewers!  My channel just went over 2 million yesterday.  That's so unbelievable to me!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  It was just January when I announced the channel had reached 1 million.  So two months later, we have added another million.  Who needs $640 million dollars, when you can get your millions in video views?

There is one video that has gone viral.  It is the video where Rod and Danielle met the first time.  I noticed something strange was happening with it because every week the blog views for that one was showing up as one of the most viewed.  When I finally took a look at the YouTube numbers I was in shock.  HUH?  Anyway, that video just turned a year old on March 22nd and is currently at

599,817

Crazy, right?  It only has 61 dislikes, so I guess it's not a total fluke.  I did find out, looking at the stats, that 63% of the views are referrals from within YouTube.  So I am eternally grateful for all the love and support you guys are showing Morristown.  How perfect that today I start shooting the wedding activities.  I should have a video up no later than Wednesday.  Mind you, this wedding will take the entire month of April to get through.  We don't want to miss any of the good stuff.

In this video, it is the morning after they arrived at the beach house. Danielle was the work-a-holic who got up early to do some computer work.

    1. Kenya - Thanks. It's still unfathomable to me. But who I am to question it. I'm supposed to be writing a companion ebook. I think that is how you figure into my life.

  6. Congratulations! I've only followed your blog a short time, but I've become hooked. I went back and watched most of your videos. Your characters are realistic, inspiring and face real life issues that many can relate to...both child and adult. That's a fine line to walk and you're an expert! Looking forward to what comes next! :)

    1. veda - Thanks! What a sweet thing to say! When I started the videos, it was just going to be showing just normal every day life. Each video was supposed to stand alone. That all changed when I did the beach series. Thanks so much for watching.

  7. Congratulations Vanessa! I was viewing someone's blog yesterday and after their YouTube presentation ended, yours was one of four that was shown that could be viewed. Two of them were of the porcelain dolls you use to make and sell. Of course I viewed them and at the end, the one mentioned above was one of the four that was shown this time. In fact, all of the four were of your videos. Congrats again and thanks for bringing them to us! I look forward to your ebook.

Now for your question in reference to $640 million....hmmm tough question. Lol!

    P. S. I will also be one who say, I remember her from before all of her fame....in a good way of course. Lol!

    1. Georgia Girl - This experience has really brought home compound interest to me. Getting the first million took a while, but the second million came so quickly. With that $640 million, you would have 640 million additional problems. If I was going to win the lottery, I would want to win something less than 10 million. Not so many people would bother you for that. Except family. LOL!

    1. Ebony Nicole - Thanks for your support. When I started, I used to see StormeeJanee all the time. When you revealed it was you, I was pleasantly surprised. I will continue to support you as you continue to keep us in suspense with Takeo's family. I am the person who wants to know the end of the movie before I see it. So as you can imagine, I am pulling my hair out wondering about Takeo's family business. But I will be patient. LOL!

    1. Hey Muff - Thanks! That's funny, I always pictured you to be about 25 yrs old. You have an "I'll try just about anything attitude", that is typically associated with the younger folks. Thanks again for your wonderful comments.

    2. Ha, no, I'm 45! I was just pretty repressed as a kid and I'm making up for it in my later years.

  13. Big congratulations Vanessa who shows me that it is possible to make childhood dreams come true. I've wanted to make movies with dolls since I was in high school. You have shown me that it is possible and that there is an audience for the genre. I am always deeply inspired by your work!

  15. Well, what took the world so long catch up with it! I love the whole beach vacation series. From them leaving out for trip and the three houses to the flippers on the kids to the volley ball game. I know you said it got sand everywhere but it was very original! It would be soo romantic for them to go back there on their honeymoon.

    1. Ms. Leo - Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. I got chills about the suggestion for them to go back to the beach house. How come I didn't think of that! It's an awesome idea. If I can make it happen, I will. The beach series was really the start of the good stuff.
