Check Out Auntie Paulette! Labor Day Cookout Part 2 Video

2The new video is ready.  Auntie Paulette makes an appearance.  I must say she is looking quite stylish.  She even has on a pair of limbe doll sandals.  I picked out the outfit before I knew she would be wearing the sandals.  Of course there was a perfect matching pair.

You go auntie!

I didn't do a lot of new food.  I just used what I had.  Don't ask me what the yellow item is.  I made it a long time ago and it is a little too big in scale.  I wish I had made corn on the cob.  I knew I had a lot of plastic corn on the cob, but I couldn't bring myself to put it on the table.  It just looked so fake.  I didn't bake the potato salad or the beans.  So I was able to serve the potato salad.  Somehow the beans solidified on their own, so I couldn't put them on the plates.  Potato salad was everywhere!  It was pretty funny.  The next video will feature more of Rod and Danielle.

Frannie - Haha heeeee, oh my tummy hurts from all the laughing I am doing. Actually, the last sofa in my Etsy store just sold today. I will be a furniture making fool the next few days. I love when I make sales, so I am not at all complaining.

  5. I am literally running out of compliments. Will someone who's an executive for Showtime, HBO, TBS, FX, etc...please give this woman a mini-series! Your sets are always awesome but that food...perfection. Always a pleasure to log on and watch a Vansdolltreasure production. :)

  9. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments. I just wish there were many more hours in a day so I could make all the food items that are on my list. I went to a fight party last night and they had ribs!!! You know I had to have a taste after watching David grill those things for the past 2 days. Tracy you are so kind. I hope those executives are listening, so when I am ready, they are, too.

  11. You are really starting to work the deep focus in your images. I like how the characters in the background are visible but in soft focus. The shot looking through the sliding glass doors into the house where the guys are watching TV is really cool.

  12. limbe dolls - Thanks. Believe it or not, some of that is on purpose. I have been reading a lot more about f-stops and how it affects the depth of focus, and how the shutter speed and light entering affects the picture. So even though some of them are on accident, I at least know why it happens now.
