"Honey It's Time" (Photostory)

It's been a particularly restless night for Danielle.  She has tossed and turned all night.  The baby has been quite active.

She finally just sits up and turns on the light.

"Alrighty princess.  You got me out the bed.  Now, what?"  (Danielle)

As she stands to go into the bathroom, she is hit with an incredible pain.  She lets out a little scream before sitting back on the bed.

"Honey!"  (Danielle)
Rod doesn't budge.  Danielle calls him again a little louder.

This time, he turns and barely opens his eyes.
"Honey.... it's time."  (Danielle)

"Time for what?"  (Rod)
"I think the baby's coming."  (Danielle)
Rod pops up without hesitation.
"Are you sure?"  (Rod)
"I'm pretty sure."  (Danielle)

Rod grabs his pants and starts pulling them on.  Danielle decides to wear her nightgown to the hospital.

As she goes to put on her slippers, she lets out a little groan.
"Honey, why don't you sit down until I finish getting dressed?"  (Rod)
"I want to go check on the boys before we leave."  (Danielle)
"I'll take care of everything.  I'll check on them.  I'll call your mom and the doctor.  Please have a seat."  (Rod)

Rod quickly looks in on the boys,

Both are still sound asleep.  He calls Danielle's mom and the doctor as he heads back to the bedroom.

"Your mom is on her way over, and the doctor is headed to the hospital.  You ready?"  (Rod)
"I'm ready."  (Danielle)

They arrive at Morrison Memorial in record time

"Do you see anyone?  They said they would meet us with a wheelchair."  (Rod)

"She's coming."  (Danielle)

"Wait a minute.  I'll come around and help you."  (Rod)

Danielle continues to make little distress noises.
"Are you okay?"  (Rod)
"I just need a moment."  (Danielle)
"Let's get her in the chair."  (Nurse)

"Honey, don't forget to bring my bag."  (Danielle)
"I won't.  I'll be right back."  (Rod)

"She'll be in suite 202."  (Nurse)

  1. agrh....lol this is getting very full of suspense!!
I just LOVE the boy's racing car bunk beds - did you make them, they are just perfect. I also really like the wallpaper in Rod & Danielle's bedroom - is it scrapbook paper. It is beautiful, I'd like bedroom curtains (for me) in that pattern!

    1. FIONA - Thanks. Yes, I made the racing car beds. I need to finish Jacob's. I still have to put the decals on. I used fabric on the accent wall in the parent's room. It would make really nice curtains.

Now Vanessa, the social worker in me wants to know who was there with the babies before grandma got there? Lol! I was waiting to see who was caring for them.

    1. Georgia Girl - Thanks! I was considering changing the red stripes, but I'll keep it a little longer. Danielle was considering toning it down a bit.

You don't have to worry about the boys. Remember Grandma lives just across the way. She arrived as they were leaving. You know Danielle would never leave those boys alone.
