Dressed for Church

She is on vacation and still making demands.  I got a call from Dasia yesterday and she requested a outfit to wear to church on Sunday.  She said she would be back in town first thing this morning and was hoping I would have something for her to try on.  My first reaction was, church???  That means I have to find a spot to rebuild the church.  Needless to say, I made her a tie blouse (my first ever) and a blue skirt.

Please forgive these blurry pictures.  I need to set up better lighting for picture taking.

Here she is with her granddaughter, Carla.  This is the dress Carla's mom picked out for her.

This is the dress Carla picked out to for herself to wear.  They are both Bratz fashions.  Neither of the dresses close all the way in the back, but they fit great everywhere else.

The church will be filled tomorrow with more residents from Morristown.

Here is a shot of the recent Bratz fashions I ordered from Target.com.  They were on sale.

This doll set was $2.75.  I just noticed today that it comes with a pair of scissors.

This doll set was $5.98.  I just checked, it's now on sale for $4.98.  I think this outfit will look cute on Zahara (S.I.S. kid)

This set has a lot of pieces to it.  A skirt, a top, cute leggings, a dress, a long sweater, a ski coat, skis, goggles, and hot chocolate.  I can't use the shoes or the hat, so I didn't count them.  I paid $11.98, original price is $19.99.  It is now $9.98.  I also got free shipping.

I think the long sweater is better on Nicole, than Carla.

  2. This is wild, but I swear it's a true story: I was walking the dog past a church this morning and there was a woman running in late who was wearing a top that was almost exactly like Dasia's here!

  4. Oh those little divas of ours!! They arrive, happy you brought them into your home. And before you know it, they are ruling the house!!! Dasia IS the queen bee and well.....you do what you have to do to keep her happy! She's going to church just to keep you on your toes (and more focused on her needs!) So far so good, where the church is concerned. Love the pews! Getting your crew ready for church sounds like a LOT of fun!!! (P.S. Can't wait to see the matching hats!!)

    1. april - I think I need to remind here that when she got here she didn't have a stitch of clothing. Maybe that is why she is so demanding. She doesn't ever want to be without something to wear again! Dressing large numbers of dolls at the same time does not equal fun for me. It will take couple days just for the dressing. I better get started.

  5. Ditto everything April said. Pretty soon Dasia is going to have a show called, "Dasia in Charge."

    1. Muff - Lol! Did the show Charles in Charge pop into your head when you wrote that? I used to love watching Scott Baio. I wonder where he is now? It's been a long time since I've heard anything about him.

  7. Dasia and Carla look great! Can't wait for the Church scene will all 3 grands be there? We haven't seen Dasia's son in a while either. Whatever happened with the haircut thing?

    1. AG Lanc - Thanks! Yes all three grands will be there. Maybe her son will show up. Not sure. Carmelia wasn't too bothered, but her husband was. Only because he thinks it's important for a dad to take his son to the barbershop for bonding time.

  11. Just a thought, maybe the hat could be a bunting, blanket, or winter skirt for Courtney or one of the teens. I have baby on the brain since Zoe arrived. How about a purse for Dasia? Just a thought since your dolly budget has taken a hit.

    1. Sharon - Hello and thanks for visiting. I have an 8 yr old neighbor that gets my Bratz dolls and all the accessories I can't use. I wonder if that hat could have worked as a hat for Dasia. With her hair pulled up, it might have fit. I haven't given that particular doll away yet, so maybe I will give it a try.
