Our New Playroom

Danielle has been at it again.  Since the boy's bedroom was too small for their toys, she started working on their playroom.  She's not finished, but the boys can now play.  Julian is going to take us on a little tour.

"Hi.  I'm Julian.  Mommy's taking a nap and she told me to show you our new playroom."

"This is our desk. Mommy made it so we can write on the walls.  Not all the walls.  Just the black one."

"I forgot what she said about the bookcase."

"Oh, I remember.  She said we still have to put the books here."

"Over her is our toy box.  We have a lot of toys and we can't close it.  Mommy may have to get us a bigger one."

"This is where we can hang our school work.  I don't remember what Mommy called it."

"Next is our car table.  I don't know where our cars are.  They must be in the boxes or we left them at the old house."

"We also have a bigger car track for the bigger cars."

"Well that's all.  Hope you like our new playroom.  I'm going to go play now.  Bye bye."

  1. This room is perfect. The rug is a great touch. Are those Lincoln Logs in the corner?

    1. Georgia Girl - Danielle knows with the playroom fixed up, she and Rod will be able to get a lot of work done in the rest of the house and not have to worry about the boys.

    1. Phyllis - Thanks! It will be hard to get them to leave this room. I put this room where Nicole's room was going to be. They desperately needed a place for their toys. Nicole will still have a room, but it will be on the back of the house. We won't be able to see it until she comes to spend the night.

  8. Love all the little touches. Where did you find that rug to print out? My son had a rug like that when he was little. I'd love to put one in my 1/6 dollhouse for Gareth World. Also, did you make the car table?

    1. Tam - Thanks! Just google car track rug images. I'm still in the process of making that car table. I found the little track at a local miniature store. I will be fitting wood around the sides when I get a chance. Right now it's too tall for Jacob to play with it.

  10. Such a cute room and there is not reason the boys should say they're bored.
