New House Coming!

The beauty of not buying dolls and a lot of extra doll stuff is that I have plenty of money to buy houses.  I was set to buy two houses today, but I'm on the fence about which one to get next.  When I saw the KidKraft Glamorous house today, I fell in love.  I love the colors.  I immediately thought about some of my single ladies, and my couples without kids.  I will have to remove the stairs or the elevator to give it a little more space.  Not sure which one yet.  So here are a list of people.  Any thoughts on who you think should get the new house?

1.  Darius and Nikki  (are they even still together)
2.  Diana Ross and Billy
3.  Tina and Harrison
4.  Halle Berry
5.  One of the Prettie Girls
6.  One of the SIS girls
7.  Jordan (business woman)

Feel free to suggest someone not on the list.

The second house that was in my cart a couple different times today, was the KidKraft Country Estate.  The seller on ebay wanted to charge me tax.  Zulily charges shipping.  Amazon doesn't take Paypal.  Soooo....I will wait a few days.  That will give me time to mull this over again.

There was another house that also hit my cart a few times today.  I'm definitely getting this house in the near future.  It would be perfect for roommates, a single mother with a child  (Karla and Tori), or a couple.

  1. Thank you Vanessa to share with us thes houses dolls.

Le problème est toujours là, au moment ou j'ouvre ton blog, il apparaît. Peut-être que je suis la seule à avoir ce problème.

    1. Shasarignis - I'm not sure why. Run your antivirus software to see if that will fix your problem. My antivirus software isn't reporting any problems.

  2. The houses look really nice.Maybe the owners should be Darius and Nikki (if they are still together) or Halle Berry,I am not sure, but I know that you will pick the perfect owner for that house.

    1. My doll stuff. - I originally had Darius and Nikki in mind. I guess when I get the house it will be up to them to fight over the new house.

  3. What to do? What to do? I only wish I had the space to have a few houses! I say get them all, put them in a gated community and have each family you're considering fill out the appropriate mortgage and bid applications. After all, this is a doll's world. LOL

    1. Brenova - I'm a little scared of the Country Estate house. I know that one will be huge. I love your idea of the gated community. Sunni, our realtor, will be very busy.

    2. I have a couple of families who were thinking of moving to GA.....I'd better get their banking affairs in order, just in case an estate becomes available.

    1. gochemoche - Thanks for visiting my blog! $89 is a really good price. That is what I paid for mine, but was able to get free shipping and no taxes.

  5. I have looked at that uptown house a few times. I think it's pretty cool. I think that you should remove the elevator from the glamorous house. The stairs are pretty cool and more realistic than having an elevator in a house. Now for the lucky couple or single - vote for one of the Prettie Girls or Jordan. I really think that house has a single person vibe.

    1. Janainah - That uptown house has so many great possibilities. The only thing about those stairs is they aren't to scale. I do like the way they look. If I have enough space for furniture, I will leave them in place.

  6. Cool houses, my favorite is the Glamorous Dollhouse, I love the stairs and the modern look! I like Brenova's idea of a community, if you have the space for it!

    1. Linda - Today was my first time seeing that Glamorous house, which is odd considering how much time I spent looking at KidKraft houses. Maybe it's fairly new. Not sure. I have space for a community in the basement. But right now the two KidKraft houses I already have are in my craft room. I like seeing them when I sew. If I get around to moving them to the basement, I will see about the gated community.

  8. Speaking of houses, I'm thinking of writing a story surrounding my Dena and using one of my fold-up houses. Great minds think alike!

    1. KMQ - I look forward to reading your stories. Truth be told, none of my dolls need any more houses. Dasia and Roberta (Happy Family grandma) are the two that needed and received houses. Now all the other dolls want to move out of the houses they already have into new houses. The nerve!

    2. Kidkraft houses are so awesome! I personally would love to see Nikki and Darius or Halle get it. I guess they'll have to draw straws. :-)

    3. Tracy - Maybe we will have to shoot an episode of House Hunters. Lol. We will have a few people tour the house and then they will have to fight over it.

  9. I see either Darius and Nikki or Halle Berry in this house too. Who knows, once you get the house set up and have Sunni start showing it to prospective homeowners, you could end up with a bidding war!

I have been drooling over some of the Kid's Craft houses on Walmart.com. They often have discounts on them and I can get free shipping too. Right now I am organizing my basement to see what else I can fit in Hanaly Corners.

    1. Phyllis - I'm sure there will be a little fighting over this one. Walmart has good prices, but depending on the house, there are other places to get them cheaper. Target.com has great prices, too. Most people that sell them, offer free shipping. Best to comparison shop for each house your are interested in.

  12. You know I love me some Kidkfraft houses. My daughter got a monster of a house last year and I've considered that uptown house for myself. I vote for Jordan to occupy the one you bought. Lucky you to have enough room for multiple houses!

    1. Jewell - That's why I'm a little scared to get that country estate. I think it will be a monster, too. Jordan would look nice in that house.

  14. Those houses are lovely but I'm not sure who would suit which. I see Shasarignis has had a problem with your blog. I have also with a few of your entries over the past few weeks (not this one or the more recent one). I get a pop-up window over the entry saying I can't view the content without signing in. When I click on it to close it, it goes away but I find another window has opened behind the browser which I find when I close my internet session. I thought it might have been a virus too but it only happened with those few entries of your blog - I wondered if it had something to do with your spammers.

  17. the kidcraft country estate looks interesting. I have been looking for a house that would be easy to bash into a castle or a spooky victorian mansion for my spooky vampire dolls- like the haunted beauty dolls and my w club vampires as well as my sideshow buffy the vampire slayer series. This would be wonderful to spray paint and bash into a castle with library, dungeon, bedrooms, place for the coffin, dining room, lab for the mad scientist for Frankentstein, and so on. Above all I want one with a staircase in it. I had thought of building one but that is time consuming and it would be too heavy made of wood. Thank you for this idea!
