Christmas Sweaters

On Flickr a few days ago, someone posted pictures of some Christmas ornaments from Michael's that would make the perfect doll sweaters.  I went out this weekend and bought a few.  It took me awhile to find them because they weren't with the rest of the ornaments.  They retail for $5.99, but they were on sale for 50% off.

I bought this set specifically for Rod and Danielle.


I think I will use this set for one of the teenage daughters and the mom.  Possibly Christina and Cassandra.



Rod threw on his Santa hat at the last minute and I snapped the shot,

By the way, I added initial pillows to my Etsy store.  You pick the initial and chose between the colors black or red.

    Nice! I didn't see these when I was at Michael's I'll have to check them out! I love Rod and Danielle in matching sweaters. So cute! I been having trouble with the net so I mostly look at post at the library! I was glad to see you new post!

      Hi Ms. Leo! So glad to see you again. I had to look high and low to find them at my Michael's. They were on at the end of an aisle in a separate box display without any other ornaments around. I saw them just as I was about to give up and leave the store.

      Isabelle - Aren't they adorable? I saw pictures of some different ones with dogs and Christmas trees, but I didn't see any of those at my Michael's.

      DBG - I saw pictures of some truly "ugly" ones, that were adorable, but my Michael's didn't have them. They had snowmen, dogs, and reindeer etc. Take a look here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/lauren-4/15550207230/

      My Michael's had plenty. Probably because no one could find them in their hidden location. I know it looks like I bought them all. Felt like that, too.

      DBG - Sweaters vary in measurement, but most of them are 3.75 in from neck to hem, and they range from 8in to 10in arm to arm.

      Thank you. I saw some onlone that measured 4-1/2 inches from neck to hem and 5 inches from arm to arm.

    You are bringing an atmosphere of Christmas with your post! I'm not celebrating it, but I simply love all of decorations,Christmas Tree,lights, gifts and music.
    Those little sweaters are so cute! have seen similar but I though it will be too small for Barbie so didn't buy, my bad. Rod and Danielle look great in matching clothes!

    I was out of town when I read this post and ran to the nearest Michael's I could find. You are so right about finding them. I walked passed them three times before I finally saw them. The sales people must have thought I was a crazy lady just wandering through the store over and over again. I bought three as I still call myself making my own clothes.

    This was a great tip. I keep seeing these lovely Christmas scenes, making me want to do one. So these can go into a scene. Thank you!

      Janainah Frye - I'm so glad you stayed the course to find those sweaters. I don't know why they have them in such odd places. They would probably be close to sold out if they had them in a better place. Hope you are able to do a little Christmas scene.
