Back to the Furniture

Well, I am back to furniture making.  Feels great.  One of my Flickr friends commissioned this sectional from me, which I finished today.  

This is the first time I've done a sectional with 3 seat cushions on the left.  

I didn't have to hire Halle since this piece was already sold.  I am working on two new pieces which will require her modeling expertise.  Hard ti tell in these pictures, but there is red trim along the bottom.

It's been awhile since we've seen Kendra and baby Cameron.  They are both doing well.  Kendra is getting out more and getting more comfortable being a new mommy.

    Wow, that looks amazing! I promise, if it's the last Dollie related item I purchase, I will own one of your sofa pieces! My AA Texas Cheer guy needs a manly sectional with some Afrocentric flair.

      Tracy - Thanks! I completely understand. I don't even own one of my sectionals. lol. My residents are not happy about that.

    beautiful sofa. i love all your pieces. i might just purchase some items in the future for my barbies since i decided to keep them. i'm more into 1:12 scale.

      shirley - I've thought about making 1:12 pieces. Maybe once I start decorating my miniature house, I do a limited number.

    Wow, another beautiful piece of furniture! I love the sofa I purchased from you a couple of years ago. It is in the next house I am working on, so you should see it in a future post.
