Perfect Fit

Roberta is modeling her cute little jean outfit Julian and Jacob got her for Christmas.   Danielle found it on-line at the Mixis store.

The outfit came with the four pieces you see here, including the shoes.

The shoes are a little big, but she can still rock them.

The jeans have Ms stitched on the pocket.

The red tank top.

Speaking of the Mixis, Emerald has made a connection.  At the moment they are just hanging out.

And here is a picture of today's homemade dessert.  It's my first ever, caramel flan.

  1. It's cute AND she wears it quite well! I'm sure the kiddies had help from Danielle, when picking it out. :)

    1. Verona - Roberta loves that the outfit is so comfortable and casual. Most of her wardrobe is dresses, so this is a nice change.

  4. Very nice outfit! I like the denim and metal accents. I have never had flan. Is it like pudding?

    1. Marta - This was my first time eating flan. I love the way they look, so I had to try making one. Aren't those shoes cute? I was so happy to see they included shoes.

  6. I love the Mixis fashions. They are very detailed and well made.

As for the shoes being slightly large for Roberta and other dolls, a quick fix is to stuff the toe with tissue or a piece of a cotton ball or poly filament. The soles can also be lined with cardboard, if necessary, but I like the stuffing the toe method best.

I never noticed the M's on the back of the jeans. I'll have to take a look at mine now.

    1. DBG - Yes, the outfits are very well made. How on earth did you miss those Ms? Thanks for the tissue stuffing tip. I remember seeing that in one of your former posts. For the plastic shoes, I usually just put a small piece of white tacky stuff on the foot. I'm not sure if that will work as well on these cloth shoes, so it's good to have a backup tactic.
