Fashions by Shasarignis

A few weeks ago, one of my YouTube/Blogger friends, Shasarignis, sent me a message, with the title "HELP ME PLEASE", in capital letters.  She was looking to find a good home for some of her personally handmade fashions, and was practically begging me to take some.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!  Of course I would "help".  She wouldn't even allow me to pay for the postage from France.

Why was I so excited?  Because I have watched Shasarignis YouTube videos for over three years.  Her fashion videos have always inspired me.  She would whip up a handmade outfit, without any patterns, in what seemed like minutes.  And then there were her stop animation videos, that I just loved.  I did a feature post on Shasarignis' stop motion videos  back in 2012.

When I opened the package, I was blown away with the number of pieces she sent to me.  Below are a few of the outfits.  I didn't get a chance to model them all, so at the end of the post are a couple pictures from Shasarignis blog and a link.

Dominique got the modeling job even though the clothes were made for Barbie sized dolls, and she's Fashion Royalty size.  So the clothes will fit her a little differently, but they still look great.

Here's a view of the sexy back.

Cute and chic.

It comes with a jacket.

This dress is larger in size and will probably look nice on one of my Mixis dolls.

It comes with a gold lines red coat.

There was a cute black jacket that I paired with it, too.

A cute pencil skirt that will come in handy for my business ladies.

A beautiful dress and jacket.

I decided to pair it up with the other cute island looking jacket for a more casual feel.

Let's pretend I ironed this outfit.  lol.  It is made of the softest t-shirt like fabric and I love it.

It, too, has a very sexy back.

I took a gold belt that was included, and dressed it up a bit.  There are endless ways to accessorize this dress.

I was almost brought to tears when I opened up the package of white clothes.  It was a full wedding party attire.  I remembered seeing these on YouTube, and being thoroughly impressed.  I couldn't believe that she sent them to me.

There are two wedding dresses included.  Here is the first one.

A view from the back.

Here is the second one.

It came with a matching flower girl dress.

The four pictures below are taken from Shasarignis' blog.  They are all outfits that she sent to me, that I didn't get a chance to take pictures of.
A full wedding party ensemble complete with white tuxedo for Ken.

A gorgeous gold 3-pc outfit.

A red cape

A fancy burgundy dress.

Shasarignis, I can't thank you enough for thinking of me, and sending me these beautiful handmade creations.  I appreciate the time and energy you put into making these.  My ladies will cherish and wear them well.  I hope to return the favor, one day.

You can not only see more of Shasarignis' fashions, here, but she has a link to each of the videos under the photos that shows how she made them.  Please check them out when you have a moment.  I don't even think she owns a sewing machine.  So she could very well inspire some of you who have been wanting to get creative and make some outfits for your own dolls.

This was the initial message from Shasarignis.
Bonjour Vanessa,
I have a big problem : I think I am alone in my area to collect Barbie dolls. I wanted to share my passion with some people who are in my area, but I found nobody : no fan !
So I wanted to sell some of my handmade fashion but, I found nobody in my area.
So I decided to give a part of my handmade fashion to someone who like dolls like me, who know how it's can be difficult to create handmade fashion without pattern, who will use them for her own movie or photo stories.... in fact, somoene like you.

Now, Vanessa, would you accept to receive some of my handmade fashion ? I will send them to you by post in january. It's can look strange to have this message, but I have so much handmade fashion, I just want to give them to a serious person.
It's not a sale (no money) it's a gift from me ! I just need you adress to send them to you in january by post.

Please, Vanessa, can you accept some of my hasndmade fashion ?

Wow, wow, wow, Shasarignis. So much talent. Thanks for sharing your gift with Vanessa - now many of us will appreciate your artistry and be inspired to create doll fashions, too. The materials, the colors, the fit - all beautifully arranged. (And a vigorous nod and thumbs up to Vanessa for choosing such an elegant and lovely model.)

I agree with many of the other posters here - Shasarignis, you should put your work on Etsy - if possible. Good luck; I look forward to reading your blog.

    1. Kenya - I watched Rod and Danielle's wedding with my next door neighbor a couple days ago. I still can't believe I did all of that. But now that I have such beautiful wedding attire, I guess I need to marry someone off. I wonder how it would look having this wedding attire at the Justice of the Peace. LOL! I wouldn't do that.
