Piano Progress and The New Teacher

I got a little more done on the upright piano. I still have to add the black keys, the keyboard cover, the foot pedals, and make a new bench.  I picked up the stain, Cabernet, that Cindi of Moreville, recommended.  I love it.  Thanks Cindi!

So here I am sitting with my daughter, Alicia.  I thought this would be a good time to introduce her to the piano.  Then I thought, I would be the perfect piano teacher for Morristown.  This is also a great way for me to get some more face time on this here blog.

"Honey, you are a natural."

I guess this also means I'm getting that new Kara body I spoke about a couple of days ago.  I can't very well play the piano without movable wrists.  Time for a Target trip!

ID Help Needed!
Does anyone know what this is?

Or can you offer any suggestions as to what it might have been attached to?  It was another thrift store find.  The carriage part is removable.  I just may take it off and make a stroller, but it would be nice to know what it was originally.  Thanks.

Thanks to Taylor, the mystery has been solved!
Wow!  Who would have thought? I will proceed to turn this into a stroller for Barbie.

  6. The piano looks amazing Vanessa! Love the stain color, great idea Cindy. :)

You're lucky to live in an area where you see the SIS girls. I haven't seen anymore since I got Marisa and Chandra. Oh well, guess I'll take it as a hint that I don't need to be spending anymore money anyway, LOL.

I don't think I've ever seen that carriage before, sorry. It does seem like it will make great strollers. Can't wait to see your finished projects!
