The DisneyWorld Stash

The Disney store is having a sale!  They were having a sale last week when I stopped by, but my funds were pretty low.  They had the Princess two outfit sets marked down from $14.50 to $6.99.  I only purchased one last week, vowing to go back today.  Well, well, well.  Not only was the sale still on, but it was even better with 25% off already reduced merchandise.  I didn't even see the 25% off signs until after I was in the store for awhile.  Then all hell broke loose.  My eyes started scanning things it paid no attention to before.  I had my own personal salesman running behind me carrying my boxes and taking them upfront.  I sort of felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

I saw this Cinderella set at the very end of my shopping.  Normally this set is $59.50.  It was marked down to $34.99.  Take 25% off and it was only a little over $26!  The carriage is super cool.  The doll is fully articulated, so after she plays Cinderella, her body can be a donor.  And her dress is really pretty.

The carriage has a pumpkin door,

that slides shut.

Here is the inside.  Julian and Nicole are going to love this.

Here she is showing off her articulation.

I almost forgot about the poor horse.  Love those wheels.

This also wasn't on my radar.  It is the Cinderella full gift set.  Complete with the fairy godmother, the handsome prince, the two wicked stepsisters and the wicked stepmother.  This set retailed for $79.50.  It was marked down to $39.99.  With the 25% off it was $29.99.  Not bad for 6 articulated bodied dolls, two outfits, and a dressform.

I plan to use the bodies of  the stepsisters, when needed, for other dolls.  I think I will keep the stepmom as is, and use her as someone's mother.

The fairy godmother may stay as a grandmother, too.  I'm curious to see what her body is like.  They also had her character separate for $5.25 on sale.  I think it was a little taller than this figure.

The prince isn't bad looking.  He may just remain on his own body and do cameo appearances.

These two characters were marked down to $5.25 each.

These are the two piece clothes sets that were marked down from $14.50 to $5.25 each.
This is the Belle set.  The teapot accessories are wonderful!

This is the Tiana set.  Her accessories are cute little frogs.  I like that all the outfits are versatile.  That blue dress would make a nice party dress and the yellow dress would be a great outfit for a waitress.

The Snow White set has a beautiful wedding gown.  The dwarfs are adorable.

This is the Mulan set.

I also picked up a couple of plush animals.  The goofy ended up being $5.25 and Tiana's frog was a little over $3.

I almost forgot.  This is the Jasmine outfit I picked up last week for $6.99.  I have two of the Pocahontas dolls.  I am going to turn one into Jasmine.

I might as well show the roses I received last week from my honey, since they were peeking out.

  1. It's probably a good thing I don't have money because I'd almost definitely be using it all on Disney stuff now. Those are some fantastic deals! And I love that carriage!! Congrats!

    1. DBG - The items are marked down on line, but I didn't see the 25% . Hope it's there. They have Tiana's car marked down, but they didn't have it in the store.

  5. Wow Vanessa, you made out like a bandit! Great deal and haul. I wish one was closer to me. I believe the Perimeter store is the closest. Which one do you go to?

  7. As Joey from Blossom would say..."WHOA!" Love everything, especially the carriage. Rod is such a romantic, I can see him taking the family on a carriage ride while at Disney World. I really like the step sisters, think they'd make great "mean girls" in town. And poor Cinderella...when the bell tolls at midnight, she'll be turning her articulation over to someone else. ;)

Ok, now I'm amped up to see how these new items are used. Come on next post... ;)

    1. Tracy - That's a great impression of Joey. That Cinderella won't even make it to midnight. She will be transformed into some other princess since I have the other Cinderella. Originally that's how I was going to make several princesses. Just by dressing up regular Barbies in their clothes. In the next post they arrive at Grandma's house. They are already standing on the front porch with their luggage...waiting for me.

  16. These were great buys! I have alway wonder what the bodies were like on the Mermaid characters, so I hope you show that some time. I like the stepmother and the carriage too! I can see where you might be going with all of this in my mind. I am getting excited! This trip will have to be at least a few photo stories and maybe a video!

    1. The bodies on the mermaid lady doll is normal with feet. This character I believe doesn't have feet, but I will let you know. There will definitely be a video!
