Headed to Disney for Breakfast (Photostory)

Goodness.  They are finally headed to DisneyWorld.  I had to get one more story at Grandma's house because I will be dismantling it to do the Disney scenes.

Rod and Danielle are spending a few moments this morning, taking in some fresh air.

"It's a perfect day for DisneyWorld."  (Rod)
"I hope you are ready for this.  Three kids at DisneyWorld is going to be exhausting."  (Danielle)
"Well, I guess we better get started."  (Rod)
"Oh, just a few more minutes of quiet, then we can go."  (Danielle)

Meanwhile, Roberta is getting some time in with the kids before they leave.

"You like playing with Granny's face, don't you?"  (Grandma)
"Grandma, how come you're not coming with us?"  (Julian)

"Julian, Grandma would only slow you guys down.  This way you get to see a lot more of the park."  (Roberta)

"But, I want you to come with us."  (Julian)

"I will be here when you get back.  Once you get there and see Mickey and Minnie, and Goofy, you will be just fine."  (Roberta)

"Are you guys ready to go?  What's wrong with Julian?"  (Danielle)

"Oh, Julian is upset that I'm not going."  (Roberta)
"Julian, Grandma will go with us when we go to Animal Kingdom.  Of course, if you would like to stay with her, we will go see Mickey and Minnie, and Batman by ourselves."  (Danielle)
"Batman?"  (Julian)

That was all it took for Julian to run and get his shoes.  In the meantime, Rod went to pull Roberta's car up to the door.

Julian is saying his last goodbyes.  Everyone else is waiting in the car.

"Bye Grandma.  Don't go biking without me.  We can go when I get back."  (Julian)
"I'm not going biking today, but I will have a nice treat for you when you return."  (Roberta)
"Let's go, Julian."  (Danielle)

"I love you, Daddy.  Thanks for bringing us to DisneyWorld."  (Nicole)
"You're welcome.  I love you, too.  (Rod)

Danielle and Julian finally get seated.

"Is everyone buckled up and ready to go?"  (Danielle)

"YES!"  (The kids)

"Goodbye kids.  Have fun!"  (Roberta)

"Bye mom.  We'll see you later."  (Danielle)

So they are finally on their way.  First stop is breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

I forgot to show (and decorate) Roberta's spare bedroom that is located on the first floor in the back.  This is where Julian and Nicole sleep.  They sleep feet to feet on the bed.  I had planned to accessorize the bookshelf and walls, and put bedding on the bed, but it didn't happen.

See you at DisneyWorld!

  3. Good story ! you are keeping us in suspense...
Julian is so sweet. He doesn't want Roberta stay at home alone while everybody are going to Disney World.

    1. sislovessinging - Thanks. They are headed to Chef Mickey. That's the name of the restaurant. My grandma had a little bedroom right off the dining area.

  6. Yes, it always seems to take forever to herd everyone out of the house when there is a family outing. You capture all the little details of life so well.

  7. Ooh, Julian is so sweet - but I loved the way Danielle threw in 'Batman' and really got him moving. Mums quickly get to know what works on their kids. Great family pictures too, it just looks like a lovely holiday.

  9. I have never been to Disneyworld, but I look forward to seeing Rod, Danielle, and their small gang there. I love Roberta's house - she can pull off the pink without it looking goofy.

Mattel has issued a lot of theme park accessories this year.

I love how your characters interact and pose ... they just come alive. Julian is the ultimate charmer, lol.

    1. D7ana - I highly recommend a trip to Disneyworld. I didn't think I would like it as an adult, but we had a blast. "Goofy" - no pun intended. LOL. I did see all the theme park accessories, but I opted to make my own rides.
      Julian said hello.

  11. Hello from Spain: I like to see the marriage resting on the terrace of the house. They're right that day in the park will be exhausting. The red car I really like. I like the room of Nicole and Julian. You organized very well all the furniture. I'm waiting for the next, Disney. Keep in touch

    1. Marta - I got that red car at the thrift store several months ago. I'm trying to use as much of the stuff that I have. No use buying it if it's not going to get used. Disney, here they come!

  12. I had to giggle at your first paragraph! I thought everything stayed put together. What's the treat going to be since we won't get to see it at Grandma's house? This was so cute. Julian tugged my heart. Loved how he switched gears at the thought of being left behind.

    1. Kenya - A lot of dios do stay up, but these houses take up too much space, so they get stored in the basement until I need them. That house and most of Disney will happen on my dining room table. He didn't switch gears at the thought of being left. He switched at the thought of missing his idol, Batman. Didn't you see him in his Batman shirt? By the time this Disney trip is over, I'm hoping no one will remember there was even a promise of a treat. We will all be exhausted by then.

  14. I went to Disneyland as a chid! It was one of the best things I ever did! I was as black as a burnt match when I got back! I alway remember the way it rained in the middle of the day and then the sun was back out! It really does take two trips to see it all...hint, hint!

I love little Julian and does some have a new body? Mmm!

    1. Ms. Leo - I went when I was 27 and it was one of the best things I ever did, too. I'm glad I got to do it at least once. I'm pretty sure we will get to see quite a bit of Disney. No new bodies here.

PS Check back later today. I FINALLY opened the box and did a story that will be posted within the next two hours.
