A Few Black Beauties For Sale

I am parting with quite a few of my black dolls.  Some I had multiple face molds and some I just didn't bond with.  I've had quite a few questions over the past couple of years asking where did I get my dolls.  A lot of these questions were asked of our younger generation, who unfortunately see more of the Desiree mold than anything else.  So even the Christie mold dolls, that I've sort of taken for granted over the years, are very new to a number of people.  Dolls can be found on my Dollpages and on the Dolls for Sale link at the top.  Heads up, I may do a blog post once every other month to highlight some of the dolls.  This will keep me focused on the task of finding new homes for these and other beauties that I no longer have a need for.

    1. Marta - Priority shipping is very expensive, but First Class International is pretty reasonable to most countries.

    1. D7ana - The variety, especially of ethnic dolls has really been sparse the past few years. That has really made me take note of all the different facemolds in my collection.

  5. Yes, the ethnic variety has been sparse recently. Why I am anxious for the Prettie Girls and the new Mixis to arrive. Taps foot. Oh, well ;-D

  6. The Brandy doll is probably one of the best Mattel celeb dolls ever made. Her face mold is beautiful and the hair braiding is lovely. I also like the first doll with the Desiree face mold. She kind of favors Gabrielle Union.

I wish I could buy one of these. >:( I am broke! I need more Black doll bodies to play Switcheroo with. The Model Muse bodies just doesn't do it for me. :(

    1. Kenyadoll - Thanks for your comments. Mattel did a great job on the Brandy doll. I also have to give them props on the Halle Berry 007 doll. She is spot on, too. I hear you on the MM bodies. Did you see my review on the Disney articulated body? It's not perfect, but it is another possibility for the slightly darker skinned bodies.
