Happy 4th of July - Disney Articulation Sale

Happy Independence Day!  This is not the post I had planned, but there's a Disney sale and a chance for you to add some new characters or new articulated bodies to your collection.  TODAY only, the classic Disney dolls, all of which are articulated, are available 2 for $22 and FREE SHIPPING.  That works out to $11 per doll.  There are many more sales on the site, www.disneystore.com.  To go directly to the available dolls, click here.   All images below are property of the DisneyStore.

Here's Princess Tiana.  This seems to be a nice body for the darker skinned dolls.

This picture of Snow White shows a little more of the articulation.  Please note the dolls have flat feet but articulated ankles.  I would imagine like the LIV dolls they can still wear some heels.  I think this is a nice design for ballet dolls.

Here is Mulan.  Seems like she may just be able to fit right into a regular collection  as is.  She would add some nice variety.

The Pocahontas doll better illustrates the articulation of these dolls.  I like that Disney gave all the dolls, regardless of skin color, the same articulation.  (Mattel are you listening).

The next three images will show a few of the men.  Of course, there are quite a few more on the site.  I wanted to show their articulation which is different than the ladies.

All of the outfit packs are included in the 2 for $22 sale, as well.

This horse is NOT part of the two for sale, but he would still get free shipping.  I wanted to show him because he too is articulated.  He is listed for $24.50.

This little lady is not a fashion doll.  She is 16".  She was too cute not to include on my blog post.

SOOOO.....  I have to check out a few of these dolls for myself.   It was D7ana, who first called my attention to the articulated Disney dolls.  I'm surprised I didn't know about them.  Well I hope they are a nice surprise when the get here.

  1. They doesn't deliver in Italy :( I saw them in my last trip. The shop girl from the staff didn't know if the princes and the princesses dolls have articulated legs. I bought a Triton doll, he's not articulated but I'm happy the same

  4. Sigh. Thanks for sharing this specific Disney sale, Vanessa. Sigh again. I wish I could get the Tiana and the Pocahontas for their bodies. Although the heads look a smidgen bit smaller than the usual ginormous heads the Disney crew have.

The 16" doll is a cutie, too. Thanks for sharing that photo. She definitely triggers an "awwww" response.

    Happy 4th to you, too!

  7. Thanks for the info Vanessa and Happy 4th of July! I wish I could take part in this sale but the loots lookin' a lil' bleak. LOL.

I have my AA Stardoll on the Pocahontas body and she matches that one too, perfectly. Unfortunately, the body I have is articulate only at the elbows and wrists but I don't mind the bend-click knees that mutch. It will be cool to see what you do with them, should you decide to purchase.

    Keep us posted. :)

  9. thank you for this post, I wouldn't know about this sale if not you! ordered 4 dolls, 3 x Tiana, because it's always hard to find AA articulated body, especially more dark (same problem with pale bodies...) and one Pocahontas. Thank you again!
