The Day After: Part I - The Taylor Home

It's the morning after the wedding.  Rod and Danielle made plans for Nicole to spend the night with Nikaya.  Danielle's mom is taking care of the boys until their parents return.  Rod and Danielle spent the night at Hotel Monaco.  They will be back home later in the evening after dinner.  Their official honeymoon won't begin for a few weeks.

The girls have been up a little while talking.

"I wish Jessica could have stayed the night, too."  (Nikaya)

"Good morning, ladies. Did you sleep well?" (mom)
"YES" (unison)
"Mommy, who was that man at the wedding last night?" (Nikaya)

Antoinette sat down on the bed.  After a long discussion with Freeman last night, it was pretty clear that he wanted to be a part of the family again.  They made plans to have a family dinner soon and introduce him to the kids.

"Well that man is both your dads father.  So that makes him your grandfather."  (Mom)
"I kind of remember him." (Nicole)
"I don't." (Nikaya)

"Will we see him again?" (Zahara)
"Yes, you will meet him very soon." (mom)

Upcoming scene for the next post.  The Dance Studio has been built!

  1. Dance studio? When I get to be an old lady I hope to have enough money to have a tango gigolo come out and give me lessons once a week. If I were in Morristown I would definitely sign up for classes at this place!

    1. limbe dolls - Why wait? I started salsa lessons last week and I now know where all the good looking men are. At the dance studios. I can't wait until tomorrow night when I return for my next lesson.

    1. Verona - It will be nice having the dance studio for the young kids, the older professionals, the couples needing dance lessons, etc. I may finally get to use some of the many ballet outfits I have.

    1. mustiwait - I told you guys I was so ready for the wedding to be over, so I could get all these stories out my head. I could literally do 5 stories tomorrow. I have a couple of new dios setup up and ready to be shot. I came up with a new idea tonight that I am thrilled about. Hope I can pull it off.

    1. Ms. Leo - They are always welcome. That was one of the easiest dios I have built to date.

  6. Nice studio! What size are most of your dio's? I only have one set up right now. I am trying to decide if I will keep that "one" up or not....it is so big. I have too many ideas floating in my head as well to utilize all of this space for just that "one". Love the girl's room.

    1. Georgia Girl - Your question prompted me to take some pictures of Morristown so you can see the size of my dios. I will post that hopefully this morning. It's my experience that dios don't need to be as big as you think. I have a few permanent dios, but most of the new dios are only temporary. It is rare that I will shoot more than two scenes in the same dio, so there's no need for it to take up all that space.

  8. Enjoyed the little-girl chatter and the room decor.

A dance studio should be fun for the little ones as well as the adults.

    1. DBG - Tanisha and Chaundra can't wait to show off their dance skills. They would be able to do that much better if they had more articulation. LOL! I was so close to pulling out the airbrush yesterday.
