Lots of Chatter Happening in the Santuary

"Oh great.  Grandma is here.  We'll go over in a minute."

"Where would you like to sit?"  (Harrison)
"I wonder where the usher is.  Oh, there's Lydia.  Let's sit over there." (Tina)
Ian is doing double duty and is supposed to be seating the people.  He is missing in action.

"Oh isn't that cute?  She and her mom are both dressed in purple."

Harrison and Tina take a seat behind Lydia and say hello.

Meanwhile, Jolisa is on the verge of a temper tantrum.
"But where are you going?"  (Chris)

"We have to go find mommy."  (Jolisa)
"Your mommy will be back soon."  (Chris)

"So Sunni, did you close that big deal you were working on?" (Vanessa)
"We are set to close in an about two weeks."  (Sunni)

"Dad, are you going to give me away when I get married?"  (daughter)
"Get married! Who's going to marry you?"  (son)
"Oh shut up!"  (daughter)

"Do you think you two can try to get along for one day?"  (Debbie)
"Honey you have a long time before I have to give you away."  (Dad)
"How about we just give her away now?  Would save us all a lot of grief."  (son)

Darren is helping his wife and daughter into their seat.

"Daddy, let's go!" (Jolisa)

:"Looks like you have your hands full."  (Lydia)
"Amazing how strong they get when they want their way."  (Chris)

"Mom, thanks so much for keeping her today.  Jada, be good for Grandma."  (Shantavia)
"Oh Jada is always good for Grandma.  Right, Jada?"  (Tina)

Chris has had enough.  Or should I say, Jolisa won the fight.

Lisa and Charles are headed in as he is headed out.

"So how do you know Rod and Danielle?"  (Michelle)

"Well I'm Leslie's sister-in-law, and I used to date the bride's brother."  (Olivia)
"Ian?  Oh he's a cutie."  (Michelle)
"Yes, we haven't seen each other in quite some time.  I am hoping he will be happy to see me."  (Olivia)

Mikayla has distracted Dad with all her chatter and he is spilling milk all over baby Chloe.

He finally gets it together.  He hopes that Mikayla will calm down before the wedding starts.

"Hey girl.  You got room in there for us?"  (Lisa)
"Sure.  There's plenty of room."  (Vanessa)

"Mom.  It's a little crowded over here."  (Tyler)
"Boy, hush up."  (Vanessa)
"Ty?  Ty?  Ty?"  (Alicia)
"Tyler, please answer your sister."  (Dad)

Well, they better get this wedding started real soon.  I don't think the kids are going to last much longer.

    1. Alura - I am hoping for a mass sleep epidemic to take place. That's all I need are restless, crying children messing up my wedding.

    1. Vita Plastica - Danielle didn't want to be one of those brides that said 'no kids'. They are such a vital part of Morristown. I'm sure they will calm down once they hear the music.

    2. I would hate to have the job of wedding nanny. Pretty sure I would go crazy! lol (^_^) But this wedding may need one. I hope they do calm down when the music starts!

  4. Amazing!! It reminds me the last wedding that I attended. There were many lively children and parents were forced to go after them!! XD

  6. Hello from Spain: a wonderful entry. There is much realism in the photos. Jolisa is very pretty .. acts as a girl her age. The guests are very elegant. I like Mikayla and baby. Congratulations for this entry. I see you had a lot of work. Congratulations. Keep in touch

  7. There is a lot of chatter going on with a lot of antsy children. Hopefully, as you said, the music will calm everyone down and the ceremony can proceed without any unexpected interruptions or mishaps.

The chatter between the brother and sister was very realistic.

  10. The Jus Kidding - Thanks! My life experiences allows for stories to always pop in my head.

Marta - Thanks! I think Jolisa needed a nap. LOL!

dbg - You know those pews are hard. I think I would be jumping up,too. As a person with 2 brothers, one older and one younger, we had our fair share of spats.

william - Thanks! I think I spotted Corey and Steph heading to the overflow room. I'll go check.

Georgia Girl - Did you call me a drama queen! Just kidding. Tomorrow I have to finish the last little details before the actual video shoot. I know there will be a lot of happy people!

  11. Just now catching up on the last week's worth of blogs because we're in the end of semester crunch. All of your wedding photo stories are charming. I've been enjoying the vignettes on other blogs as guests head to the wedding. My dolls had to take a transatlantic flight and are anxious that they may not make it to the church in time but they are eagerly on their way. Can't wait for the wedding video!

  12. Whoohoo! Almost there at the actual wedding! Yay!

  13. Love the scene and the chatter although I would probably duck out like Ian, lol.

Can't wait to see Julian and the Bride, of course.

Launched some East Philly folks today. Hope they make it.

P.S. Church pews are supposed to be uncomfortable so you don't fall asleep. Not that that has stopped me a few times, ;-D

  14. It's good to see lots of little children in church, I'm glad Danielle and Rod didn't ban them from the wedding. Can't wait for the next instalment

  15. limbe dolls - Your absence was noted. Glad to see you back and I can't wait to see who's coming!

Verona - Now if they can just figure out how to get this veil on her head!

D7ana - Ooooh, can't wait to see who's coming! Oh is that why they make those pews so hard?

Carrickters - I agree. Kids always add that needed excitement. A few more finishing touches to do today and we are set for tomorrow's videoshoot.

  18. Rossetti - There's always one kid in a crowd of many that seems to want a little more attention. Maybe I should build a quick litte church nursery for the parents to bring the kids to if they need to. Hmmmm?

  19. There is always so much going on before the weddding. Children have a hard time keeping still when there isn't something going on. I'm suprised someone doesn't have a computer game with them. I noticed some people don't want kids at the wedding for that reason. They are part of the family so it seen cold when they can't come.

Does Ian know Olivia is coming? Oh! That is why he is missing!

    1. Ms. Leo - Tyler actually has a handheld playstation game, but I wouldn't let him bring it. Apparently I didn't think is was appropriate in church. Jolisa is going to straighten right up when Kara comes on the scene. Kara don't play that.

Ian doesn't know Olivia is coming. Olivia doesn't know he has a girlfriend and she is looking to rekindle things. We will have to see how this is going to play out since Raven is there, too.

    1. Debbie - Thanks. It's okay that your kids are sniping at each other. I have no doubt that you and your handsome husband (I gave him a haircut) will keep them in check. There will be plenty of tissues nearby.

    1. Sonya - The kids have a tendency to take over. Especially when they are in a new place. Someone was supposed to get a room at the hotel so parents could bring their kids to watch tv and sleep if necessary. I hope they remembered. By the time the kids get to the reception, they are going to be worn out.
