This weekend I will be doing a video of the daycare. I wanted to give you a few preview shots.
I don't think Cassandra was prepared for all the kids that showed up. On paper it doesn't look like a lot of kids. It's a different story once they all get together. She still has some wall hangings to put up, but her shipment from the education store was delayed by a week.
Most of the kids are already there. Racquel is dropping off Shay.
Because the group is so big, they are sort of split into groups. Some will have story time and some will have play time.
Alicia and Ciana are playing house together.
Samantha has everything under control in the infant room.
This room will get more decorations, too, as soon as the shipment arrives.
Can you imagine the conversation taking place here?
WOW that place is packed in the toddler area but I bet that's going to be some work

ReplyDeleteWell it's decorated enough for now. She will finish that job as time permits. What? I missed lunch? I'll have to come back, although I just had a wonderful homemade salad. I may stop over in a couple of hours when my lunch settles. Hugs!

DBG - The kids do appear to be under control even though the sheer number of them makes it seem a little overwhelming. I guess I was anticipating all of those 'kid falling over' blooper moments I tend to experience when working with the kiddies.

ReplyDeleteMarta - Thanks! I made Racquel's bag back when I did the beach series. Samantha is a Harley Davidson doll. I do have lots of babies. This is about half of what I have. I LOVE the babies!

ReplyDeleteElijah - Jacob is a doll from the Mikelman Doll Company. Ciana is just a slightly larger Kelly doll that came out in about 2004, I think. They only made these dolls for about a year or so.
