Stinker's Stuff Recording Studio Tutorial

I know a number of you are familiar with Johanna from Stinker's Stuff.  She does amazing doll stories.  I call her the Quentin Tarantino of the doll world.  Her stories are so in depth, I often think she has lived through several different centuries.  She does amazing dioramas and has done a few in-depth, tutorials on some of these creations.  The latest one that was posted yesterday is the recording studio.  Amazing!  Take a look.

  1. She's fantastic, right? I love it! I've learned so much from her tutorials.

*Ahem* I'm still daydreaming about you doing a sliding door tutorial...

  2. Vita Plastica - She's wonderful. When I talked about doing the sliding door tut, I was so excited. And we see it still hasn't been done. So I learned a valuable lesson about me. If it's something I don't enjoy doing, it's not going to get done, no matter how great my intentions. I am always too anxious to just move on to the next project. If I can find something on line that will help with that, I will post it. Sorry about that. You see I haven't committed to any other tuts since then.

  3. Ha! You said it. If you don't like it, it will never get done! I'm just teasing you. I have such a list of projects to do that I'd never get around to it! If I do, I'll email you for tips.

  4. Okay, first thing when I open the site. 'JOHANNA' I see my name. I'm getting freaked out. I just started following the site the other day. Now everyone is familiar with me?
Then I read on and find out about this other lady. I'm relieved. Sort of...

  7. Hello from Spain. I went into the page that you recommend 'Stinker stuff' and it's really good scene in the music room. To me it is very difficult to do. His work is like a work of art. Similar to your dioramas. Keep it up.

  12. Hi!

So, I LOVE doll stories. Your blog is right up my ally. I found you because Kendra talked about you on Mom Blog Society, but now I must follow you because the story I just read in the post before this one? SO FREAKING CUTE. I cannot wait to go back and read more of your work. I'm also going to show your blog to my friend Tara, because she builds amazing dioramas for fashion-sized dolls.

    Awesome!!! :D

  13. Ronn - Welcome to my blog! I plan to do a summary about the stories just so new people can get an idea of what is going on. I will do a quick overview tonight. Kendra is wonderful. I love reading about her son. I joined the Mom blog society because most of my doll families have kids and reading about other people's kids allows me to add more realism to my stories. I am a new follower and look forward to reading your blog. Thanks for visiting. If your friend has a blog or place she shares her dioramas, please share.
