New Video: Morning at the Anderson Home

Whipped up a quick video today.  I haven't made any changes to the Anderson home yet, just in case you are looking to see some.

  1. Is that real applesauce in Joseph's dish? Great video as usual!

  2. Frannie - Yes that is real applesauce. The baby was hungry and polymer clay food just wasn't working for him today. LOL.

  4. I am LOVING the floor plan of the Anderson's home. My favorite room of any home is the great/living room...especially if it's an open floor plan where you have a view of the dining area and kitchen area. Love it, love it! And we're getting a Labor Day cookout video too? Hmm...I wonder who the guests will be. Can't wait.

  5. Love seeing the day to day activities. Labor Day huh

  6. Tracy and Dollz4Moi - You will be getting a Labor Day Series. Remember that Danielle lives to the left of Leslie and The Taylors live on the right. So there will probably be a little activity going on at these houses too.

  8. Oh cool! You're taking me back to my childhood in Chicago when we had block parties during summer and especially for the 4th of July. Man, I miss those days. :)

  10. Tracy - I didn't know you were from Chicago. Can you do the Chicagp Step? No you didn't say block party. Wow! Those were the days.

  11. As usual I am entranced with all the little details, especially the jar of hair oil. Did you make that?

  12. limbe dolls - Thanks. No that jar of oil is one of the hair accessories in the new SIS Hair set. There is hair spray and some other hair product. That is the main reason I bought the set. Couldn't pass us them gems.

  13. Wow! I love all the little details you have in your videos. I am excited to see the Labor Day series as well. Little Joseph is just too cute. LOve it!

  14. ChynaDoll - Thanks. Isn't Joseph adorable? He is one of my favorites. Who am I kidding, I have so many favorites, I stopped keeping track.

  15. Love it. I have a little "Cianna" and I'm always running around trying to do some hair! Great set. Can't wait for Labor Day!

  16. Dani - Ciana and Leslie have the worst hair. I can never get their hair to look right. It actually works out perfectly that they are mother and daughter. I cut Ciana's hair right when I started building families. She just had way too much.

  17. LOl...I can step a little but my older brother was a steppin' king! LOl.

Yep, the block parties were the best. We use to "borrow" the construction easels to block off the streets and of course we'd have someone doing all the grilling, while us kids would help make snow cones...those were the days. :)

  18. Tracy - I keep telling you that me and your brother were made for each other!

  19. Vanessa, you need an event where the men do everything! My brother-in-law does all the cooking for special events. My sister floats around like a butterfly talking to everyone. We all need more of that! Sounds like Rod!

Love all the details in the video! I have see the palm around alot too! It looks real. As a plant person, I now many people would have killed that palm by now so, I'm impressed!

I also love they way your are able to take the folding house and make it look new also! Great work!

  20. Ms. Leo - Thanks! I can't have all the men doing everything. You guys would think I had lost my mind. I'm trying to make my stories realistic like the food. A story full of Rods is just not reality. David will do the grilling. He's not as domesticated as Rod, but he does his part.

I can't tell from your comments if you know the palm is real or not. You said it looks real. Actually there are two, and they are real. Unfortunately, I don't think they will be around much longer.

On one of the last post I wanted to mention that there are things in the Anderson home that are duplicates seen in Darius' home. The black TV stand is only used in this house. I have 2 more that are in Darius' house. The Anderson TV is smaller than Darius'. Now that I am putting up permanent homes, each home will have their own stuff. It won't be moved from house to house. The plants, and future plants may be used in multiple settings.

  21. I have the same top that Cianna is wearing! Just noticed that and though I would comment...

  22. Johanna - I appreciate your comments. I had to look at the video again to see what Ciana was wearing. She has quite a large wardrobe to be such a little girl.
