The doctor's office is for adults and kids. This was one layout.
The second layout is more compact, with a little hall leading from the elevator.
On the first floor, there is a waiting room.
To the right of the waiting room is the check in desk. The wheelchair is there for anyone who may need assistance.
Here is the preliminary school room. I still need to add a few touches.
Here is Dasia's second wrap dress. These pictures don't do it justice. It's very pretty in person.
The back view. I think the back would look really good as the front panel too.
Go Dasia! Rocking the fashion world.
ReplyDeleteLove how you have transformed the Barbie houses. I'd never have guessed that they were Barbie places. The photocopier machine and the fire extinguisher are my favorite details of this setting ;-)
D7ana - Thanks. Dasia is trying to step up her game. Like most doctor offices, this one will be bustling soon.
DeleteHi Vanessa!
ReplyDeleteDasia has the coolest clothes! She's quite the fashionista. I like what you did with the Barbie houses. It's always good to re-purpose things when you can. :-)
Cindi - Thanks! She definitely loves clothes. I was so close to folding up these houses and sticking them in the corner. I've been spoiled by those KidKraft houses.
DeleteThe detail in both rooms is amazing. That copier looks just like the Ricoh at work. That dress Dasia is wearing is lovely. Reminds me of one I used to wear back in the 70's.
ReplyDeleteOllie's Dollie's - Thanks. That copier and desk are Gloria items I repainted. They are two of my favorite pieces.
DeleteBeautiful dress! Go Dasia!! The house looks great! You repurposed it very well!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Girl - Thanks! I'm looking forward to doing some new stories in both houses.
DeleteWhat a cool use of those houses! That fire extinguisher is adorable, lol.
ReplyDeleteMuff - Thanks! I have so many cool items that are just sitting here unused. I'm trying to use a lot more of them.
DeleteExcellent use of space.
ReplyDeleteRoville - Thanks!
DeleteGood idea to repurpose the houses. I think having the hallway on the other side of the exam room gives you another area for conversations in the hallway and the exam room still has plenty of space.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the examination table? I need one.
Jaye - Thanks. I agree about the hallway. I like the idea of coming up the elevator into a hall and not directly into the exam room.
DeleteThat exam table is actually from an old MyScene salon set. There is a blue soaker tub that is can sit in and become a totally different piece. I use the table as a massage table, too. You can see that in this Halle and Diego post. http://vansdolltreasures.blogspot.com/2014/03/diegos-surprise-photostory.html
I will also add a picture to this post of all the items the set comes with. So make sure you take a look. It's a pretty big set that I found NRFB on ebay a few years ago for an awesome price. If you check regularly, you can usually find some decent prices on the My Scene playsets. They are some of the best ever offered.
Thank you! I will keep a lookout for it.
DeleteWell first of all, you do such a great job with these settings. Without reading te text I knew it was a doctor's office or something similar. I love LOVE Dasias new dress. That print really makes it a standout!
ReplyDeleteapril - Thanks! I've gotten away from doing sets like I used to. Sometimes I miss it. So happy you love the dress! That means a lot coming from a top notch fashion designer like you.
DeleteLove what you've done with the place! (I'm a bit envious! ;) but my dolls make do taking over my trailer) LOVE the copymachine and the wheelchair. The little tree, the glass table, the folders. All the tiny details make me so happy! Also Dasia's dress is beautiful! And you have reminded me that I need to pick up a classroom set eventually since mine went missing. :D
ReplyDeleteErin - Thanks so much! This was a quick setup. It will be more refined in the near future. Yes, our dolls are great at taking over our spaces. Glad we could bring you a little happiness with this post.
DeleteAmazing, I love your doll sets, I make and transform dollhouses as well on my YouTube channel. Love the dress!
ReplyDeleteGingerLola - Thank! Yes, you are awesome at creating spaces for your dolls. I have read your blog and seen a few of your videos. Keep up the great work.
DeleteWow, love what you have done here! What a great idea! Dasia is looking good in her new dress.
ReplyDeletePhyllis - Thanks! I feel like I've been neglecting the rest of my dolls lately. Nothing like a doctor's office to get a few more of them engaged in the stories.
