Dasia's New Duds

Dasia has been fairly quiet, enjoying her ever expanding wardrobe.  She has allowed me to get a few other things done without requesting something new.  We knew that wouldn't last long.  It started with the fur, shown below.  Of course, she needed a nice dress to go with her fur.

A bronze, bodycon, ankle length dress.

The dress looks nice with her new fur.

I had this beautiful faux fur in my material stash.  Dasia was all too thrilled.

    1. AG Lanc - Thanks! It's hard not to look good in a fur. Of course, I'm just guessing. I don't even own a fake one.

    1. jSarie - Thanks The fur came first and then I realized she didn't have any fur worthy clothes. I need to make her some more fur worthy dresses.

    1. april - Thanks! As the fashion design expert, I have a question. What would you recommend to use as closures on the fur coat. I'm contemplating not have any, but still thinking about it.

    2. I don't have any on my girls' furs. But if you really want to add closures, you should use hook & eyes.

    3. april - Thanks! I think I will leave the closures off.

  10. I love Dasia's clothes! The coat and the dress are awesome. I've had an urge to make doll clothes lately too. I've come up with a couple of pairs of jeans, a long plaid skirt and a black top. I may show them sometime on my blog. :-)

    1. DBG - Thanks! She's been treating me very nice lately. I think she realizes just how lucky she is. When I was 11 my Barbie had the most beautiful long fur coat. She wore it everywhere. That memory just popped into my head.

    1. billa's dolls - Thanks! They suggested when working with faux fur to cut it from the backside. That has helped.

  14. She is so lucky to have such a fabulous wardrobe. I think she doesn't want to overwhelm you, after all she is a social butterfly and she is expected to look good. I think Mrs. Dotson knows exactly how you feel, lol
