I Bit the Bullet

By now some of you may be tired of seeing Sparkle fashions, but I had to show some of these.  Today I bought the $15 pack, which features a lot of separates and dresses.  There is a white pleather jacket that I just couldn't pass up.  I decided to focus on Teen Skipper in this post.  Mainly because she was one of the few dolls that hadn't made it to the basement yet.  I found her at the thrift store almost a year ago, for $1.97. Christine, I know you are reading this and yes, your doll alter ego will get to wear some of these fashions.

The white jacket that I couldn't pass up.  This is just the cutest outfit.  I think Chandra would look killer in this with her dark complexion.

There's a pair of sweat pants with the word DANCE.

Chandra will be sporting these dance pants, too.

A swimsuit.

This outfit is too old looking for her, but I love the top for one of my older ladies.  Adele may be able to rock this top.

I'm using this as a nightgown, but I think they meant for it to be a dress.  By the way, all the dresses have built in panties.  Go Funville!

I love all the dressy dresses in the packs.  I'm planning to have a junior and/or senior prom, and these dresses will come in handy.

This was another dress in the pack  High School Musical Gabriella wanted to try it on.  She's another $1.97 thrift store find.

The last and final dress, is more formal.

There are a few more pieces in this set, 5 pair of shoes, and 5 handbags, and a necklace.  The shoes fit both of these dolls nicely. **Disclaimer - I didn't try on all the shoes.  Below are images of the clothes in the package.

I bought about 5 more single packs.  (Debbie I found the ones I needed).  I will not be blogging about them.  They will just show up in Ni'Chalets.

    1. Roxanne - You're welcome. This pack is usually on the bottom shelf in the Walmarts I've seen. Initially, I was like $15! As if that was a lot of money for what you get. Then I came to my senses, especially seeing all the mix and match options.

  2. Thanks for sharing, Vanessa. I didn't even know there was a $15 pack. There are some really nice pieces in the one you purchased. I foresee a lot of mixing and matching in your future.

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. DBG - The $15 is usually hidden on a bottom shelf. I think the pieces look much better on the dolls. Did you see my note to you at the end of the post, stating I found the two outfits that I NEEDED? If not, I did find them.

    1. Kenya - My dolls get more clothes than I do. I'm trying to change that. I gave away 75% of my wardrobe a couple weeks ago. They're on their way to Africa. Now I have no choice but to buy myself some clothes, too.

  4. Hello from Spain: in my country Skipper is a highly sought after doll for adult collectors. I kept a Skipper for years. I really like this doll. She has a very cute face. I love all the clothes. She is very trendy. Nice fashion show. Keep in touch

  5. Those outfit packs are certainly a deal for that price and they look absolutely fabulous! I went to Walmart and purchased a couple of the single outfit packs. Going back to the store later, they finally stocked the rest of the big packages and other things. I am very pleased with these. They are awesome and my dolls are happy to have some new clothes. Thank you for sharing these great finds! :)

    1. jSarie - The company was smart to use stretchy fabrics. That allows for a variety of dolls to wear the clothes.

  7. I'm certainly not tired of seeing posts about them because I have yet to find any multi packs in my area. These fashions are very cute.

  8. Thanks for featuring the $15 pack. I bought all three of the $9 packs and most of the single outfits but hadn't plunged for that yet. Now I will. :-)

  9. I saw the $15 pack at Walmart today, but I passed on it. I just picked up a couple individual packs. My teen Skipper and High School Musical girls love them! And my older girls can wear the shoes, so everyone's happy! :-)

    1. Cindi - I wonder what Mattel's response will be to this new line of inexpensive, but nicely made clothes? Glad your ladies were thrilled.

  10. I'm glad you posted about this one. I took a picture of it with my phone when I bought the others, but didn't bother sharing it because it came out so dark. I really like the jacket and dance pants. And I had the same idea as you about the prom! Teen Skipper is cute...might have to add her to my collection.

    1. Jewell - The clothes look much better when modeled. Yes, Teen Skipper is a good one to add to the collection. She's a keeper. The Christina doll I use in my stories is AA Teen Skipper.

  11. I haven't seen this pack. Thanks for sharing! I hope they continue to make clothes. Maybe Mattel will catch a hint and make full all over clothes, I rather spend this small amount on these fashions than $6 on half pattern clothes.

    1. Georgia Girl - This pack is so big, that it usually ends up hidden on the bottom shelf. I'm not convinced Mattel is smart enough to figure it out. Some of the decisions they make leads one to believe they don't have the smartest people working over there.

  13. I am saying these in my wealthy women voice. Darrrling, someone should have these outfits. Why shouldn't it be you! You girls look simply lovely in these outfit too! Now in my Philly girl voice. Come on, you get handbags shoes and clothes too for 15.00! I'd be ripping my pockets trying to get the money out! I haven't seen there here yet but you know what happens when do!

  15. Yes, keep sharing. I haven't seen these here yet and they may never make it so it's good to enjoy them through everyone else's blogs. (It's cheaper too.)
